The photographer Gerrit Engel specializes in portraying architectural highlights and has published a collection about Berlin. In particular, he has followed the history of one of the city’s main squares - the Potsdamer Platz – from the time the Berlin Wall ran through it, through reunification and its time as Europe’s largest building site to its present status as a booming center for work and play.
