Photo montage and video from Thursday, Friday the 17th & 18th of February in Dublin.
Auspicious dates in my life, things changed. and yet stayed the same, the universe smiled... The Lion roared !!! Each full moon during the year has a traditional name in different human cultures. February's full moon is best known as the Wolf Moon among some Native American tribes. Feb 18, Super Moon, Full Moon 00.36 AM at 29 Leo, degree of the fixed star, Regulus, the King! The Algonquian peoples of North America called it the Snow Moon. Other names are Hunger Moon, Storm Moon, and Candles Moon. In Hindi it is known as Magh Poornima. Its Sinhala (Buddhist) name is Navam Poya. Of 2011’s six Super Moons, this is the first, a grand start, or a grand finish, as it is the last day of Aquarius! Super Moons are when the Moon is 90% or greater of its closest approach to Earth and appear as much as 15% bigger! They indicate more intensity, rising tides...
