John James tells Josie that he thinks she misread Jo, he thinks Jo wanted to talk to her earlier in the day (day 63), but Josie didn't get the hint, so Jo instead talked to John James about her feelings of isolation in the house. Josie feels bad that she wasn't there for Jo when she needed her, so she's waiting for her to come out of the diary room as day 64 begins.
