We recommend that any time you want to do an addition on your house call a Professional Land Surveyor. You will first need a Topograhphic Survey and a Topographic Map to give to you Architect. After that when the forms are set, you will need a Verification Setbacks Letter to give to your city Inspector. This letter is required and is proof that the addition meets the required setbacks from your Property Line.
