The Eyewitness News 9 team reports on apparitions of the Virgin Mary. In part 8, a statue of the Virgin Mary that came from Medjugorje is said to have wept bloody tears near Civitavecchia, Italy. More than twenty extraordinary events have supposedly taken place since it began weeping in 1995. Healings of persons afflicted with cancer and drug addiction are among them. Some sources claim that this was proved to be a hoax, while other reliable sources remain silent on the matter. Still, if the statue strengthened one person's faith, it did its job.
