The entire members of Spectrum except Scarlet and Colonel White have been drugged by the Mysterons on the first anniversary of their organisation which have made them suffer temporally amnesia and act irresponsible to put them out of action, so that they can carry their plan to destroy the World Navy complex at Atlantica.
Elsewhere, drugged Captain Blue and Ochre go on mindless destructive spree on the World Navy base when Captain Black switched their map reference to destroy a ship wreck.
Except for the next episode and the flashback episode, this is the final appearance of Captain Black.
