The all singing, all dancing musical extravaganza Burlesque has hit UK screens and it's safe to say that the cast paid homage to the sexually suggestive dance form. Lead actress Christina Aguilera has said that the on screen antics left her feeling 'inspired' and 'empowered.' The 'Dirrty' singer said: "It's very empowering I think for a woman to feel confident in her body and in her sexuality and not to feel ashamed of it in any way and very inspiring to be a woman and to be enjoying yourself on stage like that." Her on screen rival Kristen Bell also felt comfortable during the filming adding: "There's nothing exploitative about the entire film. They wanted us to feel super comfortable. They wanted you to feel sexy. Whatever type of underwear you wanted to wear, whatever type of bra you wanted to wear, go for it!" However Cam Gigandet who plays Aguilera's love interest had a different experience adding: "I was naked a lot in that film...degrade me please." Burlesque is out in UK cinemas now.
