08/12/2010
Thirty five people have been left injured following a performance by X Factor boy band One Direction.
With temperatures reaching as low as minus seven degrees celsius, the cold and over excitement for many fans contributed to the casualties.
Around four thousand turned up to the event at Wolverhampton's Queen Square.
The group were introduced by their mentor and X Factor judge, Simon Cowell, and sang covers of Coldplay and Snow Patrol.
