The video was taken on a boat mounted camera by someone who didn't have the experience/equipment to help. We have already discussed this with our committee and yes, it was a brutal mistake on our behalf not to be there quick enough to help. I have no intention of making excuses, we messed up. Fortunately the girl came out with no injuries, just a tad shaken. She's been paddling since and is still really into her paddling.
