Indian Jet Fighter Crashes in Jodhpur City

A fighter jet belonging to the Indian Air Force has crashed in a field in the state of Rajasthan. Reports say the pilot managed to eject safely before the crash.

The aircraft was on a routine flight when it crashed in a field, around 40 miles from Jodhpur City Wednesday.
According to media reports the pilot escaped unharmed.
Witnesses say the aircraft crashed on a herd of sheep that was grazing on an almost barren field, but the sheep were unhurt.
Burned and mangled remains are all that is left now.
