The X Factor gang hit the red carpet for the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premiere but say they did not feel worthy of all the attention they recieved from the crowds.

The acts, who are now down to the final nine, were all humble in the face of a rapturous reception.

Katie Waissel was first to say: "I feel like I should just be over there somewhere, I don't feel like I should be on the red carpet."

Close rival Cher Lloyd echoed her sentiments saying: "I don't know what I'm doing with myself, I'm just walking on a red carpet. Oh my god."

Viewer's favourite Mary Byrne also found the new experience surreal saying: "At home, I'd be sitting on the till, I'd be saying to my daughter, 'Let's go to Liffey Valley and go to the pictures,' and I'd have to get the bus up. Never did I dream I'd be going to a world premiere of Harry Potter in my life."

The remaining acts may be in for a tough time this weekend as rumours of a surprise double eviction have surfaced.
