unbelievably, still not even one 24-hour rape crisis center exits in Japan. Why? Has nothing changed since the war? Is rape still acceptable in Japan? Rape test kits are not even readily available and rape victims are forced by police to engage in re-enactment photographs of the entire rape against them. Each position of the rape is photographed by the police. We hope that re-enactment photographs will be banned without delay and that rape victims will receive immediate medical care.
