Tiffany Pisani has been crowned Britain's Next Top Model 2010.

In the first ever live final, the 18-year-old from Malta beat Alisha White to the title.

"It feels very overwhelming. It's absolutely incredible that I've won Britain's Next Top Model. I still can't believe it," she said.

The winner was revealed after head judge Elle MacPherson said that whoever's picture appeared on the big screen in 10 seconds was Britain's Next Top Model.

"That ten seconds felt like it was never going to end," Tiffany said. "I didn't think it was going to be me and just to see my picture has made me the happiest person in the world. This has been my dream from a very young age. To think that I've actually got it is absolutely incredible."

Following the public vote and Tiffany being announced as the winner, Elle said, "The public have chosen. Congratulations to you both - you're both winners to me,' suggesting the decision may not have gone the way the supermodel had hoped.

But Tiffany said she was happy with Elle's reaction:

"She gave me a big hug after and gave me support, telling me how proud she was of me and thank God I trusted her for cutting my hair because I didn't want to at the time but now I'm really happy that I did."
