Daniel Monti, MD discusses the mind-body connection. Dr. Monti is Director of the Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University and Hospital, Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior, and Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Jefferson Medical College and Thomas Jefferson University. He has expertise in several areas of integrative medicine, particularly mind-body medicine and integrative oncology. Monti graduated Summa Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, and completed residency training in Psychiatry and a research scholars program at Jefferson Medical College. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and since 1999 he has served as an examiner for the oral board examination for Psychiatry.
