This is a short film I made for my daughter on the day of her funeral. I don't own the songs included here, they were used as a tribute to her, but I do own all the pictures and videos. Please have respect for her and don't do anything damaging with her stuff. Thank you for viewing.
Brooklyn was born with a condition called gastroschisis which caused her intestines to be outside of her belly when she was born. Sometime during the pregnancy, her intestines twisted on themselves and died off and were becoming gangrenous. She was left with 9cm of small intestine and half of her colon. She was dependent on Total parenteral nutrition(TPN) her entire life which caused her severe liver disease. She passed away at home, while on the transplant list awaiting a new liver and a new set of intestines. She was a very special and extremely happy baby, and she will be missed for many years to come by anyone who came into contact with her.
