In 1925-1928 Al and Ray Starita recorded with Jack Hylton's Kit-Cat Band. In this time The Piccadilly Hotel put the show staged by Edward, brother of the Dolly Sisters, called 'Dolly's Revels.' This show continued under the name of the 'Piccadilly Revels' .The Piccadilly Revels Band played a mixture of dance music with jazz arrangements. Hylton, who was busy with his band, put Ray in charge of the ensamble which played for the Revels Cabaret and at the Piccadilly Hotel. 1928 Ray and Al formed their own band, the Piccadilly Players, and two younger brothers sailed to join them.
