Cheryl Cole has apparently turned down hospital food in favour of her mum's homemade dishes.
The X Factor judge is recovering in a private ward after being diagnosed with malaria.
According to reports, she is pining for food from her childhood, so her mum Joan has been cooking the dishes and bringing them to her bedside.
These are said to include kippers and scrambled egg, ham and lentil soup and stottie cakes (a heavy doughy bread) with pease pudding (a chick-pea type of filling.)
Meanwhile, it is rumoured that Cheryl has banned her Girls Aloud bandmates from visiting her.
On a more positive note, Simon Cowell is quoted as having said that Cheryl is on the mend and will be going home in the next few days.
