As we age, we will cause a certain amount of hearing loss. Damage to the nerve endings in the inner ear can also cause heating impairment. Tinnitus can be caused by loud noises produced by loud music or firearms. It can be caused by the use of aspirin and other medications. Tinnitus can also be a symptom of an aneurysm or a brain tumor, although this is rare. The aneurysm or tumor is rare symptoms of tinnitus but they are a symptom nonetheless and are known as acoustic tumors.
