For the first time in Kharkiv: orphanage in cottages
Something not ordinary is being built in Kharkiv. It is a borough called Otradne. The orphan kids will be the main habitants of this borough. It won’t be an ordinary orphanage because the kids will live in the cottages instead of one big dorm facility. There will be ten little habitants in each of the cottages. The borough is designed according to the family type orphanage (Foster family). The borough is built by the Regional Charitable Fund “The Social Help Service”. According to the President of the fund Andriy Andriyenko, three cottages are completely ready for dwelling. It took a million euro to build them and it’ll take one and a half or two millions more to build two more cottages and some nonresidential premises.
