I use basic Drags to embellish my fills and time keeping and also used the Drag sticking to inspire new solo ideas around the drum set. Part 1 is the demo song and parts 2-4 demonstrate how I came up with my ideas starting with the basic drag and evolving to advanced linear and double bass drum licks. I was inspired by Steve Gadd's interpretation of the rudiment the Ratamacue in his video "Up Close".
