00:13League win of the season tonight.
00:16Cross comes in for why it could be an early chance for
00:19tomorrow ends but not the cleanest of contact from
00:22there must be no second contact though crucially
00:24here come the away side again through Mendonça
00:28didn't get a hold of the cross Mendonça
00:31Dumbia look to turn it home, shot comes in again
00:33that's a good reaction save from Ferreira
00:43ball worked nicely through by Guillerme
00:47into the path of Anderson
00:50eventually ball recycled back out towards the edge of the area
00:53long range shot coming in from Orojo
00:57well up to the task on that occasion
01:00Andre Ferreira
01:05that's a nice touch isn't it from his former club
01:07seven minutes on the clock and the sues ring around the ground
01:11and what a way that would have been to
01:15mark the occasion
01:17as Sporting go close to an opener
01:19on the seventh minute as the supporters celebrate
01:22the great Cristiano Ronaldo the header came in from
01:26Gonzalo Inasio
01:27just wide of the post
01:30last year
01:31but it could be a quick start for Sporting here if
01:35Anderson can get his shot away but he's just crowded out
01:37good defending
01:40tracking back from Guillermo Liberato
01:48like Anderson was
01:51racing away there
01:52from the Brazilian
01:54he stuck to his task
01:58well
01:59play towards the front post
02:00well defended by
02:01Morrowence
02:10the goalkeeper
02:11kept his eye on that all the way
02:13well spectacular on the road so far
02:15this season
02:16it's a good searching ball
02:17played into
02:19Anderson
02:20he's got Guillerme in support
02:23his cross took a deflection
02:25chasing after it was
02:27Fresneda
02:28Morrowence do enough to
02:30avert the danger for now
02:39off play towards the back post
02:41Orojo heads it back across the face
02:42a goal
02:43and somehow the ball has stayed out
02:54it doesn't come much closer than that
02:56somehow
02:57we're still at 0-0
03:00there is a VAR check
03:05let's get another look at this
03:07Orojo
03:08smart header back across the face
03:10a goal
03:10where it was almost turned home
03:12by Anderson
03:13and then there's an all last season
03:19he already is in this term
03:21as the ball is again sent into the
03:23Morrowence area
03:25picked up by Erin Cunda
03:27another in-swinger
03:28low
03:29powerful header
03:29towards the bottom corner
03:32and it's just off target
03:34in the end
03:40brilliant movement
03:43in the middle from Suarez
03:45couldn't direct that
03:46header it
03:48corner played in
03:49out-swinger
03:50wasn't overly accurate or effective
03:52they'll get another chance
03:53the ball is recovered
03:54over on the car sites
03:56and back into the area
03:57header comes in
03:58this time
03:59the header from
04:00Eduardo Caresma
04:03ball maybe slightly behind
04:05the 24 year old
04:07results in a rather
04:10loopy header
04:12not the easiest to direct
04:13goal bounce
04:15header floats over the bar
04:22116th appearance for the club
04:23Orojoence
04:24with some good momentum behind them
04:25going into this game
04:27as well
04:30they're holding a third
04:31straight league win
04:32for the first time since
04:33August of last year
04:39coming in from Orojo
04:42in the Champions League
04:43not enough to
04:43earn a league start tonight
04:47seem to be a case of
04:49horses for courses
04:50in terms of the goalkeepers
04:51this season
04:52not sporting
04:54different goalkeepers
04:55for different competitions
04:58we are becoming more
04:59accustomed to
05:00in the modern game
05:06right hand side now
05:07through Guillerme
05:10fucks in onto his left foot
05:12it's a nice ball inside
05:14and it's going to create
05:15a chance as well
05:17Suarez gathers the loose ball
05:18low shot
05:19that's a brilliant reaction
05:20save from Ferreira
05:26pulled out a couple of
05:27big saves already
05:28that was another one
05:30Orojoence unable to
05:31clear their lines
05:33Suarez beating
05:34Ferreira to the
05:35bouncing ball
05:37not on this occasion
05:39shot comes in
05:40and that's a brilliant
05:41reaction save
05:42to the night
05:42Mendoza
05:43it was a really good
05:45steal
05:46Orojoence
05:48with the press
05:50it proved effective
05:51as the ball was won
05:51on the right hand side
05:52played into the area
05:53Mendoza wasting
05:54little time
05:54in getting his shot
05:55nice return pass
05:56from Anderson
05:56to Guillerme
05:57plays the cross
05:58first time
06:01had that found the net
06:02would have been
06:05reminiscent of
06:05Zinedine Zidane's
06:06great volley
06:07in the Champions League
06:08final
06:09at Hamden Park
06:10all those years ago
06:12unfortunately
06:14here in Cunda
06:15not up to the
06:16into a goal
06:17as of yet
06:17Guillerme
06:18looking to change
06:19that back
06:19brilliant ball
06:20across the face
06:20a goal
06:23unable to keep it
06:24from going behind
06:25for a corner
06:25was Ferreira
06:27decided to cut his losses
06:28and just punch it away
06:29it's for a vicious
06:31delivery from Guillerme
06:36Guillerme goes on
06:36the outsiders
06:37man
06:37great ball
06:38again
06:38goalkeeper
06:38got something on it
06:39and it's cleared
06:40off the line
06:44Sporting will be
06:44scratching their heads
06:46when they head down
06:47the tunnel
06:47in a couple of moments
06:48in a couple of moments
06:48in time
06:50if they still haven't
06:51found a goal
06:51they've had two
06:52cleared off the line
06:53and there is the
06:53half-time whistle
06:55Morrowind's clinging on
06:56to that clean sheet
06:57for their dear lives
06:58but they will go down
06:59the tunnel
07:01the Portuguese and world
07:03football legend
07:03Cristiano Ronaldo
07:05and of course it is the
07:06first night on the job
07:08for the new boss
07:09Paulo Fonseca
07:10how he would love to
07:12start his reign at
07:14Sporting
07:15with a similar result
07:17to what he had in
07:18back to Anderson
07:18looks like he's
07:19straight into an
07:20offside position
07:20the officials will let
07:21this play out
07:22shot from Suarez
07:23oh and there's the
07:24opening goal
07:25but no the offside
07:26flag is up
07:27as we suspected
07:29Anderson had
07:30straight into an
07:31offside position
07:32the celebrations
07:33cut short
07:36frustrating night
07:37for Sporting
07:37in front of goal
07:38continues
07:39that will be
07:40very close
07:41when they review
07:42it
07:48here was that
07:49decision down
07:49the other end
07:55here was the
07:55decision at the
07:56very start of the
07:57half
07:58where Batista
08:01and Aaron Kunda
08:02had a coming
08:02together inside
08:03the Morrowind's
08:04Penley area
08:06it's very close
08:08if Anderson is
08:09offside
08:10it's one of
08:11those where
08:12maybe a boot
08:13is offside
08:19has that right
08:20foot just
08:21straight beyond
08:22the last man
08:26we will find out
08:27very shortly
08:36offside
08:37offside is the
08:37decision
08:41Suarez with the
08:41header
08:41can't direct
08:42the goal
08:43bounce
08:44good play from
08:47Guilherme
08:48down the
08:49flank again
08:49gone for the
08:50byline
08:50stood it up
08:51to the edge
08:52of the six-yard
08:52box
08:53Nile John
08:54to get up
08:54he felt
08:55that the
08:55Englishman
08:56went down
08:56quite cheaply
08:59another cross
09:00into the
09:00Morrowind's
09:00Penley area
09:01not the
09:02cleanest of
09:02strikes to
09:03say the
09:03very least
09:03from
09:04break back
09:04his way
09:05he's got
09:05support on
09:06the outside
09:07oh that
09:08was such a
09:08tempting ball
09:09right across
09:10the face
09:10of goal
09:11if it had
09:11been turned
09:12home
09:12it wouldn't
09:13have counted
09:13the offside
09:14flag did
09:14go up
09:15but what a
09:15brilliant ball
09:16from
09:17Landerson
09:18played in
09:19by Pinto
09:20that was
09:21very very
09:21tight
09:22would have
09:22been
09:22interesting
09:23if something
09:23did come
09:24of that
09:24cross
09:25from the
09:2519-year-old
09:26opens up
09:27in the
09:28middle
09:28for
09:29Dumbia
09:29plays a
09:30nice
09:30threaded ball
09:31on the
09:31outside of
09:32his boot
09:32towards
09:32Suarez
09:33Suarez
09:33has drifted
09:34out wide
09:34he tries to
09:35carry himself
09:35into the
09:36area
09:36oh that's
09:37absolutely
09:38incredible
09:42what an
09:43incredible
09:44goal
09:44from Suarez
09:46but we
09:46shouldn't be
09:47surprised
09:47it's his
09:4813th goal
09:49of the
09:49season
09:50in all
09:50competitions
09:51already
09:53the man
09:54who found
09:54the back
09:54of the net
09:5528 times
09:56in the
09:56league
09:56last season
09:58continues
09:58his red
09:59hot run
10:00of form
10:00and what
10:01a way
10:02to open
10:03the goal
10:03account
10:03for the
10:04new boss
10:04Paolo
10:05Fonseca
10:06he might
10:07not see
10:07too many
10:08goals
10:08better than
10:08that
10:09in terms
10:09of his
10:10time
10:10in charge
10:10that was
10:11incredible
10:12from
10:12Suarez
10:13as he
10:13takes
10:13the
10:14plaudits
10:14from the
10:15home
10:15fans
10:151-0
10:16sporting
10:24they've
10:24been so
10:25compact
10:25in the
10:26middle
10:26tonight
10:26they've
10:27restricted
10:28sporting
10:29so often
10:30but some
10:30space
10:31just for the
10:31first time
10:31opened up
10:32in the
10:32middle
10:33Dumbia
10:33with the
10:33pass
10:33forward
10:34but
10:34Suarez
10:35he had
10:35so much
10:35to do
10:36from here
10:36he just
10:37takes one
10:37touch
10:38inside
10:38all of a
10:39sudden
10:39space
10:40opens
10:40up
10:42bends
10:42his foot
10:42around
10:43the ball
10:43and wraps
10:44that ball
10:44into the
10:45bottom
10:45corner
10:45past the
10:46goalkeeper
10:46it's an
10:47absolutely
10:47incredible
10:48strike
10:49goalkeeper
10:50Ferreira
10:50full stretch
10:51but he
10:51didn't get
10:52near it
10:52it was
10:52just too
10:53powerful
10:53too
10:55precise
10:55and you
10:56can see
10:56why
10:57this is
10:58one of
10:58the
10:58lovely
10:58move
10:58here
10:59from the
10:59away
10:59side
10:59can they
11:00cap it
11:01off
11:01now
11:01Mendoza
11:02has he
11:02managed to
11:03stay on
11:03side
11:03play
11:03continues
11:04Mendoza
11:05from a
11:05very acute
11:06angle
11:06and eventually
11:07the flag
11:08does go
11:09up
11:09but
11:09save the
11:10wall
11:10the same
11:10from
11:10Ferreira
11:16hoping to
11:17find his
11:18third clean
11:18sheet
11:18of the
11:19season
11:20tonight
11:20in all
11:20competitions
11:30they did
11:32overcome
11:32Napoli
11:33earlier on
11:33in the
11:34week
11:34they do
11:35currently
11:35sit outside
11:36the league's
11:36top 24
11:37that's now
11:38looking to
11:39try and
11:40re-establish
11:41parity
11:41absolutely
11:42no power
11:42in the
11:43shots
11:43an easy
11:43save
11:47encouragement
11:47though for
11:48the substitute
11:48Jan
11:49Marin
11:50you
11:51see
11:51an awkward
11:52one to
11:52take down
11:53it was
11:53chest height
11:54Anderson
11:56rugby
11:56tackled
11:57but the
11:57decision
11:58goes against
11:58him
12:00and he
12:00cannot
12:00believe it
12:01that was
12:02like something
12:02from a
12:03different
12:03sporting
12:03code
12:04there
12:06and you'd
12:07have to
12:07wonder
12:07how the
12:08referee
12:08came to
12:09that
12:09conclusion
12:12as far
12:12can't
12:13relax
12:13for now
12:14though
12:151-0
12:17anything
12:17can
12:18happen
12:18sporting
12:19half
12:19giving away
12:19a free
12:20kick
12:20inside
12:20their own
12:20half
12:21here
12:28Salazar
12:29with the
12:29foul
12:30on
12:30Marano
12:3210 minutes
12:33from in
12:33free kick
12:34Morrowence
12:36decent ball
12:37but not
12:38good enough
12:39to open up
12:39that sporting
12:40defence
12:41oh that
12:42was
12:42really
12:43a sporting
12:44goal
12:47second shot
12:48on target
12:48on the night
12:50for the
12:50number
12:51seven
12:53appeals
12:54for a
12:54handball
12:55and
12:55decision
12:56does go
12:57Morrowence
12:58his way
12:59referee
13:00judges
13:00it did
13:01come off
13:01the arm
13:01of
13:02Tresneda
13:08also look
13:09at it
13:09here
13:10very harsh
13:11you have
13:11to say
13:11it's almost
13:12come off
13:14as I said
13:16earlier
13:16it's been
13:17tougher
13:17going for
13:18him
13:18in
13:19Portugal
13:20having to
13:20play
13:21second
13:21fiddle
13:21really
13:22to
13:22Luis
13:22Suarez
13:23I don't
13:24think
13:24he'll
13:24be giving
13:24up
13:24the
13:25he'll
13:25plays
13:25the
13:25ball
13:26out
13:26wide
13:26to
13:27Mendonça
13:30cut the
13:30ball back
13:31towards
13:31the penalty
13:32spot
13:42there
13:43there you have
13:43there you have
13:43it
13:43the
13:44Paolo
13:45Fonseca
13:45rain
13:46begins
13:47as his
13:47Lyon
13:48stint
13:48ended
13:49with a
13:49victory
13:55Luis
13:55Luis Suarez
13:56once again
13:56proving to be
13:57the point of
13:57difference
13:58with a
13:58moment of
13:59individual
14:00magic
14:00an incredible
14:02strike from
14:02the Colombian
14:03separating the
14:04two sides
14:05as Sporting
14:06once again
14:07come out on top
14:08in this
14:09fixture
14:10they won both
14:11meetings last season
14:12without conceding
14:13and it's another
14:14clean sheet
14:14for the Lions
14:15today
14:16just the one goal
14:17separating the sides
