00:04The game is underway at the Estadio de Luz then. Matchday 10 in Portugal, Benfica hosting Alverca.
00:12There it is, the visitors on the attack now. Alverca on the move from left to right here.
00:17Chiquinho had a good opportunity already. They do have a dangerous front three.
00:25Chiquinho, Quigaredo both involved in that attack.
00:29And Dauda Camara is the frontman wearing 19 who has three goals so far.
00:40Alverca 10th in the table.
00:4411 points behind Benfica. They have a corner inside a minute.
00:54Chiquinho swings it over, good pace to that one.
00:58From the former Wolverhampton Wanderers player.
01:06Play by Davy Guy.
01:09That's the number six, the Evorian.
01:12In midfield, there is Marco Silva, head coach of Benfica.
01:21Albuquerque are a team that gives its opponents a hard time, every time.
01:28So he wasn't taking this game lightly.
01:35He's setting up a Final Four meeting with Porto in January.
01:43Gianluca Prestiani on the ball now.
01:46The match winner in Benfica's last league game away in the Azores off the mainland.
01:51This day last week, 1-0 down.
01:56And then a bit of trouble.
01:58He set up a goal for Vangelis Pavlidis on 62 minutes.
02:02And then Prestiani scoring himself, doing it all himself as well.
02:06In the 68th minute to win it.
02:09Sheldon up with a low ball across and Pavlidis waiting for a tap.
02:12But, ultimately, the defence doing its job for Albuquerque there.
02:25Marco Bacchio...
02:29That's his cross away. Sheldon up on the end of it.
02:33Where is he?
02:34In the way of the shot.
02:35Here's another effort coming in!
02:36That's a super save!
02:38Mateus Mendes denying Alexander-Barr.
02:47That's what he was doing.
02:58Albuquerque's current jersey inspired by the 1980-81 kit.
03:06That was the 1980-81 squad that posed with the current Eagles players pre-game.
03:14Prestiani going down.
03:15Bojang is going to get a yellow here.
03:25Prestiani making out that this was a pretty serious one.
03:29But, Bojang...
03:33Will be a little unfortunate to get a booking for that one.
03:46It's been very influential for all the right reasons for Benfica this season.
04:02So, Udall with the free kick, it's a harmless one.
04:09And Lucas...
04:11Willing it go out of play.
04:20Sheldon up.
04:22Horses deflected.
04:23That made it an easy take for Mendes.
04:30Two players over on the right, this is clever.
04:32Chisumba.
04:33And Chiquinho.
04:36Chiquinho down, but Chisumba takes over.
04:46Figuredos seem to be pulled back there.
04:49There's two players on the floor.
04:51Referee allowing play to continue.
04:55That's Albuquerque.
04:56To get...
05:04Chiquinho with two goals, two assists already this season.
05:14Can they make another here?
05:16Oh, it's clever!
05:18And they have the lead!
05:23Albuquerque in front.
05:27And then Samuel Suarez...
05:30beaten.
05:31The first attempt from the visitors.
05:34Hit the post.
05:36And the second was poked home on the line.
05:40Clever free kick from Chiquinho.
05:46Figured out.
05:47Figured out.
05:47And then the Gambian centre-back.
05:50Yaya Bojang.
05:52And was never going to miss from this position.
05:58Figured out.
05:59And a good contact.
06:02Suarez keeping that one out.
06:06And then Bojang tapped home.
06:11He's onside.
06:13What a save from Suarez onto the post.
06:31It's going to be tight.
06:33Figueiredo was OK to start with.
06:36Doesn't look great for Albuquerque.
06:39Second freeze frame.
07:01Doesn't look great for Albuquerque.
07:04Second freeze frame.
07:04and then Wray was just a few days around who is outside of it.
07:06First was where Albuquerque was.
07:07Two and a期 they were out of one.
07:33Daniel Acosta, the referee, explaining exactly what's going on.
07:38We're all waiting for word from Luis Ferreira.
07:42The lead to your official tonight.
08:10The goal is disallowed.
08:23I've barely mentioned the Manfica top scorer, Angelis Pavlidis.
08:2817 in all competitions.
08:32If they're left to swing this in, he could be in the game, the number 14,
08:38but I suspect Sheldrup or Lucabaccio will go for goal.
08:44It's Dodi Lucabaccio off the wall and behind.
09:01Paulina and then Prestiani.
09:12Paulina...
09:13Looks to Lucabaccio again.
09:18That's a brilliant ball in, Pavlidis is down.
09:22Referee says no penalty.
09:31I don't think there's enough contact there from Adel to Isi.
09:41First on that replay.
09:48Dalli has lost it to Isi.
09:51Couldn't release Chiquinho down the right.
09:55Paulina is begging for some better service.
09:59A big front man for Alverca.
10:02Lucabaccio was as well.
10:08That's a risky pass out of defence.
10:11That's a recovery header from Gomez.
10:18Last chance for Benfica in the opening period.
10:27Benfica is not getting the play they want to in the first 45 minutes.
10:27Lucabaccio.
10:30Another better play.
10:32And that's all the play we'll have.
10:35And Sergio Ferreira can be very happy at the break.
10:39Alverca.
10:44So that is the first half.
10:46Benfica are not getting the play they want to in the first 45 minutes.
10:51We'll see when they get mustered up in the second half.
10:53Alverca.
10:54Doing well in the first few minutes of game.
10:59One half down, one to go, and one must ask.
11:02If the amount of games being played after the longer FIFA break
11:06is now a little bit of a burden on Benfica.
11:10We'll take a short break and come back with the highlights.
11:12It is the Primera Liga right here on the InSports.
11:19The referee Bruno Costa gives the go-aheads.
11:25And Benfica
11:26wanting to be a bit more incisive in this second period.
11:32Remember Alverca had a goal disallowed as well.
11:35Having hit the post through Figueiredo.
11:37In the same move from a free kick.
11:43And Bojang tapped the ball home, but he was offside when he did so.
11:49Confirmation flashing up on screen that
11:53Andreas Scheldrup has been replaced by Echeverdi.
12:03He's made a good impression already.
12:06A couple of assists in the league, the former River Plate attacker.
12:22Anukabacchio for Aureshmus.
12:25Alexander Barr.
12:39Pustiani
12:42he's gone to the left wing now
12:43Echeverdi playing inside
13:05and it goes for Echeverdi
