00:00This is you and Grandma Ministering.
00:02I think it Foxworth leaves.
00:05Oh, yes.
00:06Oh, that scares me.
00:09Look at this suit.
00:11Look at that.
00:12That style.
00:13Oh, my.
00:14Cool.
00:16Did I actually wear that?
00:18Yes, you did.
00:20Okay.
00:21Where is this?
00:23Which building is that?
00:25Oh, my gosh.
00:26I don't know.
00:27Oh, is that the Foxworth and Gilbert?
00:30Yes.
00:31Foxworth and Gilbert, I think.
00:34Oh, wow.
00:35Look at that.
00:35Look at the legs.
00:36You can see the legs on me there in that little picnic.
00:39That's incredible.
00:41Wow.
00:41You know, we do church picnics, and we were a small church,
00:45and we were all about just gathering together.
00:47And one of the things that we wanted to remain is have a small church feel.
00:51We're a big church now.
00:53We have all the cool things that a big church has,
00:55but we wanted to keep that small church feel,
00:58large enough to serve you, small enough to know you.
01:01We went to a meeting with Bill Hamden.
01:04Oh, yes.
01:04It was for senior pastors, but we just went because I was not a senior pastor.
01:10You came up, and remember, he knew us.
01:12He'd been in our house.
01:13He said, why are you up here?
01:15Yeah, sure.
01:15We were one of senior pastors.
01:17You were associate pastors.
01:18Yeah, so he said, I said, no, I've got a church now.
01:22And he said, oh, and he began to prophesy over, and he said,
01:25the Lord says to you that you've been up to the mountain.
01:28Yes.
01:30It's too emotional.
01:32Mm-hmm.
01:33That's okay.
01:33And he said, God has given you the plan.
01:37Yeah, as we're walking down, I go, when have you been up to the mountain?
01:41Because we just found out we had a church.
01:43You said, I haven't been there yet.
01:44I haven't been there yet.
01:45I don't know what he's talking about yet.
01:47But that was followed then, maybe the second or third Sunday,
01:52I was driving home on Broadway, and I went into a trance.
01:57Yeah.
01:57I had a visitation from the Lord.
01:59I'm driving, and I don't remember how I got home.
02:03I have no recollection, except that I was in this place.
02:08He began to show me the building going in them,
02:12and then the voice of the Lord said,
02:14I want you to build strong word and faith families and a training center.
02:25When Grandpa showed you what the domes would look like,
02:28what was your initial reaction?
02:31Well, the drawings didn't do it justice.
02:36I think when I reacted, it was the day I was out there,
02:41and they blew up the first dome.
02:43They blew up like a balloon.
02:46That's right.
02:47And I saw the size of this balloon,
02:51and I called my dad, and I said,
02:53what have you done?
02:55We've had a ton of incredible speakers, pastors.
02:59One of my favorites, though,
03:02I found a picture of him from 2002.
03:04Oh, Jesse.
03:06Yeah, Jesse's here tonight.
03:09Jesse's going to be with us.
03:10I miss him.
03:10I remember we were at a Southwest Conference in California,
03:14and we went to get breakfast,
03:17and there was Jesse, and I said,
03:19go ask Jesse.
03:20He'll come to our church.
03:21I'm going, he ain't going to come to our church.
03:24Maria says, go ask him.
03:26He'll come.
03:27He'll come.
03:27I know it.
03:27She said, he'll come.
03:28I know it.
03:29I said, okay, fine.
03:30I walk up, and just instantly we made a connection.
03:34It was an instant connection.
03:37He was so kind and so warm and friendly.
03:43He has a great attitude of debt to him
03:46for his investment in our lives,
03:48an investment of living with Bible Church.
03:49He dedicated our church.
03:51He came to our last anniversary.
03:54I mean, he's 50th, all of them,
03:57and been such a massive blessing in our lives.
04:01Most amazing man, and he's here with us.
04:03Church, will you please stand and give a warm welcome
04:07to my friend, your friend, Jesse DuPlan.
