Compassionate Individual Rescues and Nurtures Ill Pigeon

A heartwarming video from Alkmaar, a city in the Netherlands, depicts the recovery journey of a sick pigeon. The footage, recorded on September 1 and 2, 2021, showcases a caring individual saving the bird and providing necessary care at home. The rescuer recounted, "I was about to leave work when my coworkers and I noticed a pigeon in distress in the water. We decided to save him, and I transported him home on my bicycle after learning that the animal ambulance was unavailable." Initially doubtful of the bird's survival due to its young age and frailty, the rescuer used a hairdryer to dry the pigeon. Fortunately, the next day, the pigeon showed significant improvement and began to eat. After nourishing the bird, the compassionate individual took it to an animal shelter for enhanced care and was informed that it would soon be able to fly again.
