01:23Then they descended in the days of Jared, to the summit of a great mountain, and called it Mount
01:29Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual curses on the act. They were two hundred in
01:36number, and they were called the Watchers. Their leaders were twenty in number, each one leading a
01:44group of ten. These chiefs were called Samyaza, and Azazel, Amoros, and Arachiel, Ezekiel, and Gadriel,
01:54Shamshiel, and Kokobel, Sariel, and Penemu, Barakizel, and Arakeba, Ramier, and Danel, Tanniel, and Ananel,
02:05Turil, and Zarkiel. The two hundred Watchers went down, and took wives for themselves, each choosing
02:20one for himself. They put on the corruptibility of the flesh, and went in with the women, laying with
02:27them, and defiling themselves. The angels taught them magic and spells, and cuttings of the root,
02:34and taught them of the herbs and plants. Azazel taught them how to make swords, knives, shields,
02:42and breastplates. He taught them of the metals and precious stones of the earth, and how to work them
02:49into ornaments, and various shapes. And he taught them the art of beautification with colors and dyes,
02:55and how to adorn the eyelids. Samyaza taught the casting of spells and root cuttings,
03:02and Amoros taught counter spells, how to release oneself from spells. Barakizel taught astrology,
03:10and Kokobel taught the constellations. Ezekiel taught the knowledge of the clouds,
03:16and Arachiel taught the signs of the earth. Shamshiel taught the signs of the sun,
03:22and Sariel taught the course of the moon. Gadriel introduced more weapons of war,
03:28and Penemu instructed mankind in writing, and the secrets of wisdom. And so, the watchers were led
03:36astray, and turned away from God. They committed fornication, and became corrupt in all their ways.
03:43The women became pregnant, and bore half-angel-half-human hybrids, and the hybrids grew
03:50to become very large giants, whose heights were three thousand cubits. These hybrids were called
03:57the Nephilim, they were the mighty men of old, the men of renown. The giants consumed all the food and
04:05hard labor of men, and when the children of men could no longer sustain them, they turned against
04:11mankind, and began to devour them. They sinned not only against men, but also against beasts,
04:19and birds, reptiles, and fish, for they devoured their flesh, and drank their blood.
04:27With the knowledge the angels taught mankind, mankind sinned from eternity to eternity.
04:34On one side, men destroyed men with the knowledge they had been armed, and on the other side,
04:40the giants ravaged the lands, devouring everything in sight. Mankind perished, and cried out. And their
04:49cries went up to the heavens, and the earth laid accusation against the lawless giants.
04:56The archangels Michael, Uriel, Raphael, and Gabriel, looked down from the heavens,
05:02and saw the much blood being shed on earth, and the lawlessness being done. And they spoke to each
05:09other, saying, Let the cries of the destruction of the earth ascend into the gates of heaven.
05:15And let us, the holy ones, make our petition, and bring our cause to the Lord. And this the holy
05:24angels did, for they came kneeling before the Lord of ages, and said to him, Lord of lords, God of
05:31gods,
05:32King of kings, and God of the ages. Your glory endures through all generations, and your name,
05:40blessed to all ages. You have made all things, and you have power over all things. You see all things,
05:48and nothing hides from you. Look at what Azazel has done. He has taught mankind the secrets which were
05:57kept to the heavens, and has caused all unrighteousness on earth. See Semyaza whom you made
06:04leader over his associates. He has taught men enchantments and spells. They have all laid with
06:11the daughters of men, and have defiled themselves, revealing to them all kinds of sin. And lo,
06:18the women have born giants, and all the earth has been filled with blood and unrighteousness.
06:25And now, O Lord, behold the souls who have died, as they cry out and make petitions to the heavens.
06:33Their cries have ascended the gates of heaven, and will not stop, because of the unlawful acts being
06:40done on earth. You see things before they come to pass. You see all these, and you say nothing to
06:47us.
06:47Tell us, Master, what do we do about these crimes?
