00:00It's Alex Ferguson, it's his 40th anniversary since his appointment at this club.
00:05I just wonder, can you talk about what he was like for you as a player,
00:09but also what was he like as a person for you during your career, but since then as well?
00:16What's not been said already?
00:20I mean, it's something definitely worth celebrating as a football club.
00:25It's 40 years this week since he came here, the impact.
00:32Everything that he kind of was driven for him, for the football club moving forward,
00:36for all the time that was here and that he's kind of left for others to carry forward is incredible.
00:48I'm probably closer to him now and speak more to him now than I did when I was playing.
00:53I think the relationships change over time and that's only natural.
00:59Ever since I came here, the impact he had on me as an individual was immense and not necessarily directly,
01:06as in talking all the time and advice all the time, but personally it was more of just the influence
01:12that he had
01:12and the habits that you kind of try and pick up from him, as did everyone around the football club
01:18over that period of time.
01:19And then you kind of move on and evolve a little bit into a friendship really, which is really nice.
01:26So yeah, it's just the impact that he's had and he'll continue to have in this football club.
01:31Thank you very much.
