00:00It will have been 13 days by the time you play Everton.
00:02How has it been having an extended break like that?
00:04Has it been helpful or do you feel it's broken the rhythm?
00:08And how are the plans going for a mid-season friendly when the next gap comes up?
00:12And how involved in the plans for that are you?
00:15Yeah, we've tried to make it useful, you know, the break that we've had at the moment.
00:20I think we're trying to make it in different ways.
00:22I think it was important that the...
00:25I think when there's change and the kind of the month or so that we had together,
00:30I think it was important for everyone to, you know, have a couple of days to digest that and take
00:35it in.
00:37So the boys have trained a bit, had a few days off, trained a bit again and looking to get
00:43the balance right.
00:43Keeping the rhythm, keeping the sharpness, keeping the focus,
00:46which the boys have been, I have to say, really good in training again.
00:51And then, yeah, moving forward, the Fixies have thrown up some mixture of gaps between games, really.
00:58So just adjusting and adapting and we'll see what kind of comes of that.
01:03Especially, obviously, the international and then a bit of a break after that.
01:06So we'll manage it as we go, but we'll obviously try and make the best of it.
01:11How do you feel on the prospects of a friendly?
01:13Is it something you would welcome if that's what the club thinks is the right thing to do?
01:17It just depends on a lot of things, really.
01:19I don't think there's a black or white answer with that one.
01:23I think it's really kind of, we'll make a call and there's a bit of an area in between
01:29where it depends on where the game is, what it's like, what time it is when the Fixies fall, you
01:34know.
01:34So it's not straightforward, but it's something we need to look at we can do
01:38if we think it's the best for the players.
01:39I think it's the best for the players.
