The Black Sea appears to be on fire as a tanker burns off the coast of Sochi, Russia. The video shows thick black smoke rising from the vessel, with flames spreading across the ship and creating a frightening scene against the open water. The tanker was reportedly sailing under the Liberian flag and carrying oil from Novorossiysk to India when the incident occurred. With the vessel engulfed in flames and smoke billowing into the sky, the scene makes it look as though the sea itself has caught fire.
