00:27Fans were pleasantly surprised to see Yelena Belova pop up in Spidey's latest solo outing.
00:41Some might have also been confused if they slept on Thunderbolts. Seriously, that movie deserved
00:46better. Her cameo here serves as a reminder that there isn't just a new Avengers in town,
00:51but she's at the head. Yelena has also accepted her sister's mantle as the new Black Widow after
00:57Natasha made the ultimate sacrifice in Endgame. Kevin Feige has suggested that Doomsday will be
01:02quote, anchored by Yelena. Her presence in Brand New Day thus feels like more than fan service.
01:08It's a sign that Yelena is coming into her own as a leader, handling big potato problems while still
01:14having time to assist with small potato stuff. You know, you're not completely anonymous anymore.
01:19I've seen the Rebelly button. Okay.
01:23Brett Goldstein as Hercules. Thor, Love and Thunder. Marvel has released a list of essential movies and
01:30shows to watch before Doomsday. Curiously, Thor, Love and Thunder wasn't among them, even though the
01:35God of Thunder will return in Doomsday along with his adoptive daughter, Love.
01:39Everything that they sacrifice will be for nothing if we do not start together.
01:45As such, Doomsday could still deliver on that Hercules tease from four years ago.
01:50After Thor clashes with Zeus, the King of the Olympians tasks his son with hunting him down.
01:55Do you understand me, Hercules? Do you understand me, my son?
02:01Yes, father.
02:02Since then, Brett Goldstein has done two more seasons of Ted Lasso, but Hercules has yet to go
02:09the distance. If Hercules doesn't resurface in Doomsday, we imagine he'll show up in Secret Wars,
02:15perhaps being pitted against Thor on Battleworld. Or maybe he'll just become collateral damage
02:21during Thor's fight with Doom.

02:53Rings. Although Bruce Banner's return in Doomsday isn't official, his mid-credits appearance in
02:59Avengers Endgame Encore suggests he will appear. Carol Danvers dropping by seems less likely,
03:05but it's not outside the realm of possibility. Either way, their cameos in Shang-Chi are significant
03:10because of the information they relay.
03:12They don't match any artifacts from our codex.
03:15Along with Wong, Banner and Danvers deduce that the Ten Rings are not quite like anything
03:20they've encountered on Earth or across the universe.
03:23They're not vibranium. Chitauri?
03:28Not like any alien tech I've seen. How long did your dad have them before he gave them to you?
03:35Um, about a thousand years?
03:38All they know is that they're over a thousand years old and are sending a message somewhere.
03:43With Shang-Chi returning in Doomsday, the Ten Rings could factor into the plot as well.
03:48If so, we may finally learn what Banner and Danvers meant when they called the rings a beacon.

04:16The Marvels is another film missing from the suggested pre-Doomsday watch list,
04:21although we know at least one character will return.
04:24Stumbling into a parallel universe, Monica Rambeau finds herself face-to-face with a woman who resembles her mother Maria.

04:36This is actually a variant known as Binary, who has allied with the X-Men.
04:40Speaking of which, Kelsey Grammer portrayed Hank McCoy in multiple Fox X-Men movies.
04:46He made his MCU debut in this scene and will be battling alongside his fellow mutants in Doomsday.
04:52My theory? You somehow crossed through a tear in space-time.

05:22T'Challa has left this world, but his spirit and name will live on through his son.
05:27At the end of Wakanda Forever, Nakia introduces Shuri to her nephew Toussaint.

05:37Hi.
05:38Nakia and T'Challa had a child before his passing, raising him in secrecy.
05:43Toussaint's Wakanda name is also revealed to be T'Challa, hinting that he'll one day continue the Black Panther legacy.
05:49My name is Prince T'Challa, son of King T'Challa.
05:53While Divine Love Kanadu's son plays young T'Challa here, it's been confirmed that the character will be aged up,
05:59with David Johnson cast in the role.
06:01Johnson is expected to make his MCU debut in the third Black Panther film.
06:06Since the Wakandans will play a major part in Doomsday, though, Johnson's introduction as T'Challa II could come sooner
06:13than expected.
06:19Charlize Theron as Clea, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
06:23Talk about strange.
06:25One day, you're getting used to the third eye that suddenly grew out of your forehead.
06:29The next, you're approached by a sorceress who looks like Charlize Theron on the street.
06:33If you caused an incursion, then we're gonna fix it.
06:37While not named in this mid-credits scene, it's been clarified that Theron is playing Clea of the Dark Dimension.
06:43Clea tells Doctor Strange his actions caused an incursion, and he's gonna help her fix it.
06:49Nuff said.
06:49For now, we guess.
06:50Strange and Clea are two more characters who haven't been confirmed for Doomsday yet.
06:55But our third eye says they'll drop in.
06:57You're far stronger than all of us put together.
07:01Not just because Doomsday revolves around incursions,
07:04but Marvel included Multiverse of Madness on their must-rewatch list for a reason.
07:09Actually, maybe a few reasons.

07:19Channing Tatum as Remy LeBeau, Gambit, Deadpool, and Wolverine.
07:23After years of failed attempts to get a movie off the ground,
07:26it seemed Channing Tatum playing Gambit just wasn't in the cards.

07:33at last giving Tatum his chance to shine as the Cajun mutant.
07:44Tatum's extended cameo could have just been a throwaway in-joke.
07:48Marvel isn't done with Tatum's Gambit yet, however.
07:50He'll be joining Earth-1000-5's X-Men in Doomsday.
07:54Although Tatum wasn't in the Fox movies,
07:57it always seemed like a missed opportunity that Gambit never came to Xavier's school.

08:07In addition to being a last stand for several original X-Men actors,
08:11Gambit's presence could fill a void in the roster that we've been feeling for almost 26 years now.

08:22Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, Professor X.
08:25Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
08:27Although Doomsday will see Patrick Stewart reprise his role as Charles Xavier,
08:32this won't be the actor's MCU debut.
08:35Stewart previously played Professor X in Multiverse of Madness,
08:38but this wasn't the one we know from Earth-1000-5.
08:41I shall miss you, my friend.
08:48I'm ready.
08:49On Earth-838, Strange encountered another Xavier,
08:53who was part of the Illuminati.
08:55Despite bringing together some of the world's strongest and supposedly smartest heroes,
08:59the Illuminati was no match for a rampaging Wanda Maximoff.

09:08Xavier wasn't spared, meaning that we shouldn't expect to see this variant in Doomsday.
09:14The events that occurred on Earth-838 could still factor into Doomsday, however.
09:19If Strange crosses paths with Earth-1000-5's Xavier,
09:23he may mention they've sort of met before.
09:25Strange also sort of knows Magneto's daughter.
09:29I presume nothing except this.
09:31Tom Hiddleston as Loki
09:33Avengers Endgame Encore
09:35Just when you thought Endgame couldn't get more stacked,
09:38Encore added multiple mid-credits scenes with some surprise appearances.
09:42I mean, honestly.
09:44How do you keep your food...
09:45Shut up.
09:46One finds Mobius, Ouroboros, and Casey at the TVA,
09:50witnessing the collapse of the multiverse with only three worlds remaining.
09:54The ending was also extended,
09:56with Loki knocking on Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter's door in the past.
10:00This is the 2012 variant who cheated death in Endgame
10:04and would undergo a redemption arc in his eponymous TV series.
10:07You ridiculous bureaucrats will not dictate how my story ends!
10:11Loki offers to help Steve and Peggy.

10:15It's also unclear how Loki is there,
10:18as we last saw him on his eternal throne.

11:20His name isn't said,
11:22but we all immediately knew this was Doom.
11:24We weren't sure whether they got RDJ himself
11:27to shoot this uncredited cameo
11:29or if Marvel used a body double.
11:31Hell answers to me.
11:36For I am Doom.
11:40Vanessa Kirby confirmed that it was indeed Downey on set.
11:44Marvel could have gotten their money's worth
11:46and shown his face.
11:47Their restraint made this cameo
11:49all the more chilling with Doom on the horizon.
