High in the Himalayas, a snow leopard melts into the rocks above a lone bharal grazing on dry grass, creeping closer with every silent step. One heartbeat from the strike, the ram's head snaps up and the chase explodes up the slope in a spray of snow and scree. At the last moment the leopard skids and tumbles in the snow — and the bharal is gone. Even the perfect hunter goes hungry.
