00:00They stupid ass mad at they silk.
00:02There's no absolutes in life, so.
00:07Now, back to Willard and Dibs on 95.7 The Game.
00:14Um, you're more of a grudge holder than me.
00:17Is that accurate?
00:19I'm more of a grudge holder than most.
00:21I got a couple that I'm sitting on.
00:23A couple current ones that...
00:25Oh, who?
00:26I'm not going to say that.
00:27Why?
00:28Because...
00:28We're open books here.
00:30We are, but I got some grudges out there.
00:32Hey, Stan.
00:33And Dibbly, yeah, I got some that go really far back.
00:37And, uh...
00:38Are any of them against people who are in these two rooms right now?
00:42No.
00:42Okay, good.
00:43No.
00:43I actually just gave Pasta 10 Odyssey points.
00:47Because he's a really, really good guy.
00:50Yeah, he is.
00:51And he...
00:52I don't even know how to do that.
00:54How do you do that?
00:55You go to your Odyssey at work, and then you click on your little box that has a number
01:00in it, and you can redeem some.
01:02You can give some.
01:03I try to give to the people around me.
01:05And what is, for people who, you know, are listening and they're like, what is 10 Odyssey
01:09points?
01:10You get to 100 Odyssey points, and you can enter in the quarterly, hey, I might win $1,000
01:15contest.
01:15Okay.
01:16Or you get 200 Odyssey points, and you might be able to get an Odyssey mug.
01:19It's basically like Odyssey money.
01:21Wait, it's 100 points to get into a drawing for $1,000, but 200 points gets you a mug?
01:27I feel like that's the opposite.
01:27I think his numbers are off here, but it's essentially how it works.
01:30All the way around.
01:32Right.
01:32You don't have to...
01:33You start with the mug, and then go to the $1,000.
01:34You don't have to get bogged down in the minutiae of the details.
01:39I'm trying to broadly explain what it is.
01:41You don't know how to use it anyway, so you could also get an Odyssey backpack.
01:45Okay.
01:47Backpack, backpack.
01:47Or like a notebook or anything like that.
01:50Yeah.
01:50I think it's funny that you're mad at somebody getting...
01:53I'm not mad.
01:54Yeah, like locked up in the minutiae details.
01:56It's kind of like what makes you, you.
01:58It's the two marks that are pissing me off.
02:01Not to the grudge level.
02:02Wait, what did I do?
02:03I think he has the numbers wrong.
02:05I was in there backing you up.
02:06I was like, I don't think the numbers are right, but that's essentially how it works.
02:10Thanks.
02:10You didn't hear that part, because people hear what they want to hear.
02:14They don't hear what they don't want to hear.
02:15Come here over.
02:16He's fired.
02:17I mean, for that...
02:18Speaking of which, and this is kind of what I was getting at in bringing up the whole grudge
02:24holder thing.
02:25I think a lot of you have forgotten, or maybe you don't know, what Brandon Ayuk has done.
02:33And I'm not a grudge holder, but I've also learned in my life that if you're around somebody
02:42who mistreats you, leave and don't look back.
02:48But I don't think that he's done anything to us.
02:51Certainly not to me.
02:52No, but he did to them.
02:53Right.
02:54So they can hold a grudge if they want.
02:55And I think that they've had.
02:57And they should.
02:57I think they have.
02:58A great moment when they started off the show today out there at the parade, Stiney
03:05and Guru.
03:05Like, Stiney looks at Guru and goes, do you want Devondre Campbell back?
03:09He goes, hell no.
03:11He quit on the team.
03:13The hell do you think Brandon did?
03:17What in the hell do you think Brandon did?
03:20Don't really know.
03:21The characterization is that he chose not to rehab in the way that they wanted, and maybe
03:27there was bad blood from there.
03:28I don't know what the backstory and the full story is.
03:32If that man didn't quit on the team, then I don't know what quitting on a team is.
03:35He didn't quit in the middle of a game when you were down linebackers.
03:38No, he did it worse, actually.
03:40He did it worse.
03:41He did it for two, basically an entire season.
03:45But not to his teammates in that direct way.
03:48He also did it after getting $130 million.
03:53Like, Devondre Campbell.
03:55No, but he got millions and millions.
03:58He's been paid damn near $50 million by this team to do a job.
04:04And he's done none of it.
04:05And he made fun of Kyle's car accident.
04:08And he called John Lynch a predator.
04:10And on and on and on and on.
04:13Man, I'm floored by anybody who's like, yeah, we need a receiver.
04:20What?
04:21Well, he didn't offend me.
04:23And actually, he amuses me with his Instagram posts.
04:26That's great.
04:27We play the drops.
04:28I go around my house all the time talking about stopping little cat.
04:32Just because I think it's so funny.
04:34And you can be amused by that.
04:36Being a little cat.
04:36I do find it offensive.
04:38And he didn't do anything to me either.
04:39Little ass boy.
04:40But you don't need to do something to me for me to be offended by it.
04:45You're my partner.
04:46If somebody did something to you that I find offensive, I can be offended.
04:50You don't have to do it to me.
04:51If you make fun of a car accident where two people damn near lost parts of their face,
04:57if you make fun of that, I find that offensive.
05:01I don't know Brandon and I don't know Kyle.
05:03But I find that to be offensive behavior.
05:06We had a nationwide election yesterday.
05:09I have been wildly offended by many of the things that many of these politicians have done.
05:15They didn't do it to me.
05:17They didn't do it to me personally.
05:20Well, sometimes it is if it's in your jurisdiction.
05:23Sometimes it's not.
05:24Do you know what I mean?
05:26Like.
05:27Well, you could be offended by anything you want to be offended by.
05:31Sure.
05:31And, you know, we can go all the way to the dream on green Jordan pool situation.
05:36He didn't punch me, but that was offensive.
05:39And I was a little offended at the handling of the organization, blah, blah, blah.
05:43But something like this, where a player gets a contract and basically taps out on the deal.
05:50That doesn't offend me.
05:51It offends me if it prevents them from being able to do other things.
05:55And it hasn't.
05:56They've been able to go out and spend and acquire Buckner.
05:59They've got a ton of cap room.
06:00They have the most in football.
06:01They do.
06:02But some of it's going to go away.
06:03Like, no matter if it feels like it has stopped them from doing something or not, it has.
06:09Like, it is money that is now going to accelerate.
06:12So, just so everybody kind of gets what's going on here, the 49ers have already paid Brandon all of the
06:19money they're going to pay him.
06:20However, it has not been coming off of the cap as a figure as of yet.
06:26It will accelerate the minute they cut him if they do.
06:29It accelerates.
06:31It's been kind of prorated over about a five-year period.
06:33It will immediately accelerate over the next two years if they cut him.
06:38Now, do they have the money to cover it?
06:40They do.
06:40They do have the cap space to cover it.
06:42It doesn't make it a positive.
06:44So, it's not like a good thing.
06:47There is money that's going to go off of the cap for Brandon Ayuk.
06:52However, I also think the next piece of this is, A, he's got a passive physical.
06:57If not, they can stick him on IR and everything stays the same.
07:00But if he does pass a physical and they release him or even if they don't or whatever happens next,
07:06I think there's going to be a battle over the money that's already been paid.
07:11I think the 49ers are going to try to recoup some of it, as they should.
07:14And Brandon's probably going to try to get them to pay some of the money they haven't paid.
07:18So, there's like, I think there's a legal battle coming.
07:21That'd be my guess.
07:22I'm not sure what they can recoup as far as, you know, the bonuses that they paid and they prorated.
07:28That's just a sunk cost to me.
07:30And then this year, you haven't paid him a cent.
07:32So, I don't even know what they would go out there and try to recoup.
07:35The only thing I could think of would be if they're trying to avoid having this dead cap charge
07:41based on the fact that the contract should be voided.
07:44The language of all these leagues sometimes gets so convoluted and confusing.
07:48For me, it comes down to just one thing.
07:51And reportedly, he's on his way out to meet with them on Friday.
07:55So, if you get to Friday and practice, does Drew Rosenhaus show up with Brandon Ayuk in his limo?
08:02And Brandon steps out and does that big stretch after a long day of travel
08:07and just starts to sidle up to the facility.
08:10That, to me, is interesting.
08:12$48.1 million for seven games.
08:17That's what they got.
08:18We got hurt.
08:20Yeah.
08:21And I don't know if you've noticed this.
08:23A lot of 49ers get hurt.
08:25You then rehab and you come back.
08:27That's what you do.
08:28You're allowed to.
08:29You're more than allowed to.
08:30You're, in my opinion, you're contractually obligated to.
08:34And they agree, which is why they were able to stop paying him other money
08:37that they were supposed to pay him during this time.
08:40But he went AWOL.
08:41There's no two other ways about it.
08:43He went completely AWOL.
08:46In a Chris Stapps-Porzingis similar way that he's also now away from the team.
08:51And not getting paid.
08:52Right.
08:52And pissed everybody off.
08:54And in this case, he didn't get a big old whopping bonus up front like Ayuk did.
08:59And he played seven games.
09:01Very bad injury.
09:02And for whatever reason, he and the team did not have the same idea about what should happen next.
09:07And so the thing is completely broken apart.
09:09Right.
09:10Right.
09:10And we can get to that a little bit later, too.
09:12The Chris Stapps-Porzingis thing is interesting to find out today that the Warriors are not paying him.
09:16And that may make the contract more tradable, actually, as it turns out.
09:21If you've got a cheap owner out there somewhere, which, by the way, I know of one, for example, in
09:25Portland,
09:27you can acquire that expiring contract.
09:30But if it's a contract that the league deems that you don't have to pay,
09:35then now it's $20 million that you just saved.
09:38Maybe it makes the contract more tradable.
09:40Interesting.
09:40I didn't even think of that.
09:42You know?
09:43So unless he decides to show up to your team for crying out loud, he's got the teeth and, you
09:50know, France and all of that.
09:52So anyway.
