00:15A.V., I know you're a free bird and all, and you're gonna do what you want, when you want.
00:21But you could at least let me know you're alive, you know?
00:25I don't want to say anything, but you missed your last checkup.
00:29And like I told you a million times, uh, just call when you can, okay?
00:37See ya.
00:44V, let's go to hell.
00:46Straight to voicemail again.
00:48What's going on with you, eh?
00:50Lose your tongue or what?
00:53I can't do it.
00:57Like that, of course.
00:59I know I wanted to tell you, I'm cooking a supper on Sunday, for Jackie's birthday.
01:05All his favorite food?
01:08Chilaquiles, tamales.
01:10If I could get some real corn, oh, maybe even a lote.
01:14It'd be nice if you could come over.
01:17Think about it.
01:18Cuídate, amorcito.
01:21Take care, love.
01:29Pick up, pick up, pick up.
01:31I think, fuck.
01:35V, I, I don't know where we went wrong.
01:38Maybe, uh, something happened, or you needed to lay low.
01:42If you can, just give me some kind of signal that, that you're alive and everything's okay.
01:48Please.
01:52If you ever need help, you know I'm here for you, right?
01:58Always.
02:03Stay safe.
02:06Call me when you hear this.
02:11Hello, V.
02:13How are things?
02:15Weather in the Badlands is pleasant as usual.
02:17My cooler melted, it's 90 degrees in the shade, and there's sandstorms heading straight for us.
02:22So yeah, you're missing out.
02:25No, but seriously.
02:27We're doing all right.
02:28Sol and I somehow get along, for better or for worse.
02:32But still, family's always growing, work's always piling up.
02:37But better to keep busy, right?
02:42And to think if it wasn't for you, I'd still be stumbling my way through Night City.
02:48So I just want to say thank you.
02:51For all you've done for me.
02:53I'd still be lost if you hadn't set me on the right track.
03:00All right, well, talk soon, V.
03:04Don't be a stranger.
03:08Hello, V. I'm Sol speaking.
03:11Heard about something big happening in Night City, with a certain V in the lead role.
03:16Uh, don't know what you plan to do now.
03:19But just remember, we always take care of our own.
03:24And, um, you're one of us now, V.
03:28You're in Aldo Caldo.
03:30Remember that.
03:34Take care of yourself, V.
03:36And see you around.
03:39V, hey, can you hear me?
03:43Shit, is this thing recording?
03:46Okay, well, all of us have been wondered when you're finally gonna drop by.
03:51We can get a barbecue going, knock a few back, do a couple of races, or pay a friendly visit
03:58to the rapid ship.
04:01V, guess what I'm trying to say is, well, Badlands could use a badass like you, V.
04:07Don't know what you got on your plate right now, but remember, you're welcome out here any time.
04:13All right, now, take care.
04:18Hey, V, so, funny thing just happened, oh, fuck, fuck, sick, voicemail again.
04:24Do you ever answer the phone?
04:26Like, ever?
04:27Seriously.
04:28I can get through to data term customer service faster than you.
04:32Uh.
04:34What did I even, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
04:37You know that Uskrax agent called me and asked if I would go on tour with them?
04:43At first, I was like, oh, my dead fucking body.
04:46But then I thought, hey, wait, I could actually be fine.
04:51So, I don't know, anyone else?
04:54Well, there's the latest gossip for you, if you even care.
04:58Call me back when you can, yeah?
05:00Bye!
05:08Hey, V, sorry to bother you.
05:11I know you're a busy woman and everything.
05:14But, well, I was wondering how you were doing, so I laid out a quick tarot and...
05:20Oh, dear.
05:22The hanged man, the magician, the star.
05:28Those, those are not good cards, V.
05:31They're really bad.
05:33There's something like death, but not quite.
05:35All right, take care of yourself, okay?
05:40I'll, I hope to hear from you soon.
05:46Cause we lost everything.
