00:00Why did they come back with six points from that trip?
00:02Well, it was the first time I was able to go in a postgame in Los Angeles
00:07and say, what's it like for me to ask you about the power play winning you a hockey game?
00:12Yeah.
00:13Because it's the first time all year it's done it.
00:17And I guess you could make a case it did in Anaheim, too,
00:22but they had two power play goals in that game and won seven to six.
00:26But in Los Angeles, the game winning goal in the third was a power play goal
00:30and was their second of the game.
00:31So they have four power play goals in the last two games.
00:34Why?
00:35Look at the entries.
00:36I know it drives people insane that every team in the NHL does this drop pass
00:40to get into the zone.
00:42Tage Thompson, instead of coming up not at full speed where he hits the blue line
00:48and it's easy to defend him, was absolutely like he was shot out of a cannon.
00:52So their entries were like 1,000% better.
00:57He was able to gain the zone easily with the speed.
01:00He backed off the defense and they were able to get into the zone.
01:05They were bound and determined to win the battles along the wall, the 50-50 pucks.
01:12They crashed the net almost every game on the West Coast and everybody was doing it.
01:17Norris was doing it.
01:18Everybody was doing it.
01:19And so those are the things that win you hockey games.
