00:00C.J. Gardner-Johnson released, Sal says.
00:04We'll try to get Sal with us here before we're done.
00:07I guess it's not that surprising.
00:09Good riddance, I say.
00:11Yeah, yeah.
00:13I supported the idea.
00:15I liked that they wanted to venture out of their comfort zone to some extent
00:20to grab a guy that's got a reputation, you know, eight teams in five years
00:25or whatever the hell the list was.
00:27Maybe it'll be a ninth.
00:27We'll see.
00:29If that's even right.
00:30I just know it was some ridiculous disproportionate number of teams,
00:34almost double the number of teams as years.
00:39So, good try, good effort.
00:41Give me a little flavor.
00:43Give me a little attitude.
00:45Give me a little, oh, you're spitting on guys and you're the guy.
00:49When Ross was talking last segment with us about the communication in the secondary
00:55and how much more and maybe I think a lot of people that follow the Bills
01:01and pay attention to Bills' Twitter and what the coaches are saying yesterday
01:06when Leonard talked about how much more he liked the way the guys communicated
01:12on the field pre-snap on Sunday, I just felt like a lot of people,
01:18their reaction to that was they're going to cut C.J. Gardner-Johnson is what's going to happen here
01:22because he, I'm sure he wasn't the only guy confused and he's certainly not the only guy that blew coverages.
01:29But I feel like almost every game he played, there was at least one instance where he's chasing the play,
01:35sort of looking like, I thought some, I thought you were going to, hey, what, aww!
01:43And to have a veteran that was brought in to add to what you've had with the new scheme and
01:50everything
01:50and have him be the guy, and who knows, maybe he was right.
01:55Maybe every time he looked like, hey, I thought you were going to be the, huh?
01:59Well, there should have been, but he was just at the scene, I feel like, of too many
02:05for a guy that's been in the league the amount of time he's been in the league.
02:09He just seemed maybe like the heart and soul of the confusion.
02:16So I'm relieved that they're not going to try to reestablish that.
02:21I think they were better.
02:22However, the caveat is you were playing against, you know, a Baltimore team.
02:29Yeah, I mean.
02:29You're playing against there.
02:30So I want to be careful about that.
02:35But still, I think that doesn't have to have any bearing on pre-snap communication
02:39and knowing where you're supposed to be and go.
02:44So the fact that they were better at that without him on the field
02:47was probably the thing that nailed it, I'm guessing.
