00:00What if Antarctica became a country? Since Antarctica doesn't have any people living there,
00:04a few of the researchers working there would create their own government, creating the Republic
00:08of Antarctica. However, countries like Argentina, Chile, and the UK would get mad, since they
00:13already claim parts of Antarctica, and would immediately send their army. Because Antarctica
00:18wouldn't have an army, it would look like it's all over. But out of nowhere, United States and
00:22Russia would send help, saving them. In order to thank them, Antarctica would offer any Russian
00:27or American citizen a chance to live in Antarctica, which many people would accept. Even though
00:32their economy would be booming, they would soon find out the real reason why. After a couple of
00:36years, both Russia and the US would demand parts of Antarctica, since they know that they are rich
00:41with resources. With them rejecting, absolute chaos would start, as both Russian and American spies
00:47would reveal themselves, crushing the Antarctica government. Since they wouldn't be able to
00:51agree on how to split Antarctica, a huge conflict between those two would finally start.
