00:00I spent seven million dollars making an anime.
00:02Jimmy, we actually can't say that.
00:04Alright, my lawyers said I can't call it anime because I'm not Japanese.
00:07Animation.
00:08And in this video, I'm going to show you all the talented people that money went towards
00:11and how we pulled it off.
00:12Last year, I released a 30-minute pilot of my animated show.
00:16It was called Beast Labs.
00:17And you guys had some thoughts.
00:18Like, the episodes don't really have a storyline.
00:21Or the characters were a little flat.
00:23Or, I'm not really feeling anything.
00:25And this really stuck with me.
00:27So I decided I'm leveling up.
00:29So let me introduce the brand new plan.
00:32Operation Jimmy's Anime.
00:34Jimmy, animation.
00:35Okay.
00:36Animation.
00:37I just changed it.
00:38So I started animating it myself.
00:47What do you know?
00:49How do you do it?
00:50I want to be you.
00:53I needed a team.
00:54So I recruited 250 of the best artists in the world.
00:57From 16 countries around the globe to make this animation.
01:01Even Adam, who lives in Australia.
01:03This is a frame of animation currently in production.
01:06There's over 140,000 of these.
01:08All hand-drawn by myself and the team.
01:10Here's the thing.
01:11Every animation needs a really solid storyline.
01:13As you guys know, I do a lot of unscripted videos on my channel.
01:16And I thought this would be a phenomenal idea.
01:19Last to Leave Circle wins $500,000.
01:23No?
01:24Okay, I don't think the team likes it.
01:26All right.
01:26I'm throwing in the towel.
01:28I need help writing the story.
01:29And bringing just overall depth to the characters.
01:33So let me introduce you to our incredible writers.
01:36These people have some impressive backgrounds.
01:38So I told the writers I need the viewers to really connect with the characters.
01:41Hi, I'm Jameel Saleem and I write for South Park and Bob's Burgers.
01:45With Beast Animation, our rule from day one was character first.
01:49You can't just throw them into fights.
01:51You have to make the audience care about who wins.
01:54Now, Connor.
01:54I wanted more settings.
01:56We got the characters out of the lab and brought them on insane adventures and deserts, cities,
02:01malls, and car chases.
02:02Episode 3 is basically a Mad Max movie.
02:05And that's not all.
02:06We also have some of the best voice actors on the planet.
02:09I'm talking the Hulk, Hera from Star Wars, and some of the biggest names in anime.
02:14I know, lawyers.
02:15It's not anime.
02:15Don't have to keep bringing that up.
02:16And this is everything it resulted in.
02:19Longer episodes.
02:20Season 2 is over 100 minutes long.
02:22More emotion and character depth.
02:24That's Fred Tattashore.
02:25He voiced the Hulk for 15 years.
02:27And as he was voicing our show, he cried.
02:30Good sign.
02:30Creators Sketch and Valkyrie are both in episode 1.
02:33I'm not okay.
02:34Mr. Beast's main man Panther killed all his friends.
02:37And even Nolan and Treek made the cut.
02:38Nolan, as you might remember, was in the pilot.
02:41But this time, I made him look really cool to help him with his, you know, girlfriend situation.
02:45I don't have a situation.
02:47Exactly.
02:48Hopefully, someone will date him now.
02:49And lastly, Kara.
02:51And every pixel is intentional.
02:53When Panther's sad, he sees he can literally go to the back of his head.
02:57People think it's a kid's show.
02:58They have no idea what's about to hit them.
03:01We posted a teaser for the new season.
03:03And guys, look at these comments.
03:04Weirdly, quite a bit of them are about how the animation is better than Invincible.
03:08I don't know why everyone keeps commenting that.
03:10But that aside, everyone seems very excited.
03:12We did it!
03:13And before I show you guys a sneak peek of the show, I want to show it to someone whose
03:16opinion actually matters.
03:18I'm joking.
03:21Arguably the greatest storyteller on the planet, our boy Oda.
03:24I couldn't get in the same room as him.
03:26Apparently, he's right in one piece.
03:28But I did find someone who was once in the same vicinity as him in 2023.
03:32They stepped foot in the same room at the same time.
03:36Which obviously makes them qualified to review my show.
03:39And I reached out.
03:40It's time for a banana blast time.
03:45All right.
03:45What do you think Oda would say?
03:47I'd probably like it.
03:49Good enough for me.
03:51Guys, you're a part of this too.
03:52So as promised, here's one of my favorite moments from our brand new show.
03:56Super speed time.
04:05Oh God, the texture again.
04:07Ew, ew, ew, ew.
04:11That was insane.
04:13Round of applause.
04:15Episode 1 drops November 1st.
04:16I really can't wait to see what you guys think.
04:18I'll see you there.
