00:00Months ago, I put a million dollars in this hole, and then on a Super Bowl commercial,
00:04closed it up boys, I said whoever solved a hundred puzzles for a spread all across the
00:08internet would win the money inside.
00:10And out of millions of people, one human cracked the code.
00:13And I'm going to show you guys exactly how we did it.
00:16Boys, porter me.
00:17Yeah!
00:18Now throw me my super expensive...
00:21Yeah!
00:22Laptop.
00:22To have won a million dollars, you first had to watch my Super Bowl teaser, titled
00:27Watch My Super Bowl Ad to Win a Million Dollars.
00:29If you went in the description and clicked on this playlist, then looked at the pinned
00:33comments of all of these videos, you would get nine puzzles.
00:36And if you completed them, you'd receive your first answer, which was, every challenge leads
00:41towards location name somewhere around world.
00:44Great!
00:45After hours, I just taught you how to play the game, and this is the actual puzzle.
00:51And to win the million dollars, you needed to find 91 locations hidden throughout all
00:56these clues.
00:58So let's get into it, starting with my Super Bowl commercial.
01:03I just put one million dollars inside this vault.
01:07If you were to group and add these bright colored bills in the vault together, and then
01:11match those numbers to letters in the alphabet, you get Cash Tent, which sounds like Tashkent,
01:17Uzbekistan.
01:18Which would be your first of 12 locations.
01:20But do you remember when I said,
01:23Then go in a million dollars!
01:25I was wearing a belt with very special X's.
01:28Why were they special?
01:57These X's were actually wired color code pairs.
01:59For the fourth puzzle, this bulb is flashing in Morse code, spelling absolutely nothing.
02:03But if you play the video in reverse, the Morse code pattern spells Kabul.
02:08And if you take the white tape on the back of my clipboard and overlay it on the front,
02:12you'd spell out Capital of East Nusa Tenggara, which is Kupang, Indonesia.
02:17There are 26 ports in this door, and 10 lasers fire in a sequence and hit those ports, landing
02:23in this order.
02:24If you convert these numbers to the alphabet, it spells Laser Mixup.
02:28And if you mix up the word Laser, it spells Arles, as in Arles, France.
02:32For the seventh puzzle, each screen's background color can be read as Base 3 code.
02:36If you use the Base 3 formula and then convert that to letters, you get Beast City Hub, built
02:41in Toronto, Canada.
02:42And if you convert these emojis on my phone to text, the first two letters of each spell
02:47the city name of Casablanca, which is in Morocco.
02:50And did you catch the smoke bomb?
02:52This may look like 1 plus 1, but this is an S.
02:55This is actually a T, and this is a 1, and the entire thing is yellow, which spells out
03:00Yellowstone, Wyoming.
03:01And did you see these doors?
03:03They have some pretty weird dots on them.
03:04But if you overlaid these dots together, and counted the numbers from top to bottom,
03:09you'd get these atomic numbers.
03:11And if you turned them into element symbols, you'd get Lahore, Pakistan.
03:15But my favorite puzzle was probably this tank.
03:18There is a letter I in a painted picture of a person screaming.
03:22If you sound that out, it sounds like ice cream.
03:24And in 2021, I did a video where I ate a $100,000 golden ice cream.
03:29And at the 8.20 mark, there is an image of a receipt, which shows $36,348.26, which matches
03:38the tank.
03:39This receipt was for a $30,000 Bananas Foster.
03:42So why does that matter?
03:43Well, Banana Foster was invented in 1951 at the Vucaray restaurant in New Orleans, Louisiana.
03:50And for the 12th puzzle, if you take the closed captioning in the Super Bowl ad,
03:54the letters by the dashes spell seven-letter Big Lodge.
03:57Which is a Tall Inn, AKA Tall Inn Estonia.
04:01Huh? Pretty good?
04:04Congratulations! Throw yourself a party.
04:06You just solved everything in the Super Bowl commercial.
04:09What if I told you that's only 10% of the entire puzzle?
04:12We're just getting started.
04:14Because in my pre-game video, this note on the computer was a puzzle.
04:17This calendar was a puzzle.
04:19This Rubik's Cube obviously was a puzzle.
04:22These street markings were a puzzle.
04:24Even this million dollar check was a puzzle.
04:26This license plate was a puzzle.
04:28And all of this was a puzzle as well.
04:31There was a lot of puzzles.
04:32And if you're wondering how some of them worked,
04:34this is a red Rubik's Cube.
04:36And if you looked at the commercial, this clue tells us a cube should become a square.
04:40So a red cube becomes a red square.
04:43That's the place in Moscow, Russia.
04:45And for the crosswalk, there is no crosswalk in the world that should look like this.
04:50What about the one that you just showed?
04:52Nolan, you can just leave.
04:53This monitor shows a series of pictures.
04:55And the first two letters of these words are compass directions.
04:59North, East, South, and West.
05:01And I don't know if you guys knew this, but there's actually an alphabet called flag semaphore.
05:05So to get the location from this crosswalk, one arm is already drawn.
05:08And the other arm came from the first two letters from those pictures on the monitor.
05:13I'm going to be honest, I have no idea where this was coming from at this point.
05:16But if you want to know how to solve the rest of the puzzles in this pre-game video,
05:20here's the instructions, the instructions, the instructions, the instructions.
05:24Yeah, it's a lot.
05:25And since I'm teaching you about puzzles, might as well teach you how to subscribe.
05:29There's a button right below the video that if you click, it would mean the world to me if you
05:32did.
05:33And by the way, at the end of this video, I'll tell you how you can solve the puzzle in
05:36this video
05:37and win $10,000.
05:40But that's at the end.
05:41Phase three was known as the gift puzzles, where I dropped off this box with a few of my friends.
05:47He sent me a gift from some Super Bowl commercial.
05:50I got a present.
05:52Are you sure it's not a million dollars?
05:53Each gift had its own unique solution.
05:55For instance, Jimmy Fallon got this.
05:57If you rearrange the letters in the correct order, this puzzle spells Jimmy's birthplace.
06:02Which Jimmy?
06:04My birthplace.
06:05In Wichita, Kansas.
06:06Another clue was hidden in a gift I gave to the Botez sisters.
06:09It was a custom chess set with the message that I did not intend to be this creepy.
06:14Enjoy this new chess set.
06:15Maybe you two can play a game that lasts as long as game six between Magnus Carlsen and Jan Nepomniatchi.
06:22Good chess reference.
06:23Go Mr. Beast on his chess knowledge.
06:25Thanks, Andrea.
06:25But that mention wasn't random.
06:27If you recreate the final position-
06:29I think we need to find what position it is, set it up, and try to read the message.
06:32Oh, you're actually on the right track.
06:34But the real question is, what puzzle-
06:36E-L-A-F-F-U-O
06:39Buffalo is in New York.
06:41That actually makes a lot of sense.
06:42I swear, I did not help them.
06:43Now, they may have solved that puzzle for you, but it wasn't exactly smooth sailing for all my other friends.
06:48The angry lot lair is kind of cool.
06:51Let me try to do the clue before everyone else does it.
06:53Maybe it's a parking lot.
06:5450, 49, 58, that's the thing.
06:58Well, Sketch, at least you tried.
06:59Quackity then got this sword with symbols on it, which when deciphered, you get Tierra del Fuego.
07:04Eric's gift decoded to Algiers, Algeria.
07:07Hailey Bailey's rings got you DeKalb, Illinois.
07:09And the totally real diamond that Chris Hemsworth stole got you Queensland, Australia.
07:16After those, if you went to our website, you'd see the final and biggest gift in this photo.
07:20And hopefully you noticed these panels with weird symbols, which are actually numbers using a special code called Turok.
07:26If you convert these symbols, you get numbers, which spells out a nice sugar.
07:30The word nice is referring to a place in France called Nice.
07:34And the French word for sugar is Sucre, which brings you to Sucre, a place in Bolivia.
07:39Group four is where things got big.
07:42How big?
07:44Salesforce tower big.
07:46Group four was all about outreach.
07:48By counting how many seconds each color stayed on on top of the tower.
07:52And mapping those numbers to the letters of the alphabet.
07:55It spelled out a clue leading to Silver Coast, Portugal.
07:58We even had questions hidden in billboards.
08:01After solving those, you'd find even more puzzles hidden in our behind the scenes videos.
08:05In this video, you can see these incomplete equations on the wall.
08:08Using the sub count that flashed at the beginning to complete the equation.
08:12You'll get these numbers, which convert to interrupt using ASCII.
08:15If you continue to look through these videos, you'd find three more locations.
08:18This Super Bowl ticket we gave to a fan actually switches to say South Pole
08:22instead of Super Bowl on one of our shorts.
08:24Speaking of shorts, this one was definitely popular.
08:27Early on, a lot of people found this hidden message in the capital letters of this paragraph.
08:31It spelled out,
08:32This means nothing.
08:32I just wanted to waste your time, lol.
08:36But see, that's just what I wanted you to think.
08:38Because if you noticed, the key on the cow walking a cow,
08:41the numbers on the basketball jerseys, the slack message from the bear,
08:43the pound symbol on the boxer's hat, and the fact that all these butlers have doors,
08:47you would reasonably discover that we were probably just trying to say Quito, Ecuador, right?
08:52Later on, our friends over at Lone Shark Games would post three different puzzles to their socials.
08:57Upon solving, you'd get three different locations.
09:00At this point, the puzzle was only half complete, and this next group was massive.
09:05It all started at a secret website called Beast.Travel, where their next 40 puzzles were waiting.
09:10Beast.Travel featured five sections, each including a unique set of puzzles,
09:15three of which were already unlocked when you arrived.
09:18There was Trips by Car, which had 15 picture puzzles called Rebuses.
09:22Like this one here, with a gate, a scale, and a scary Grim Reaper.
09:26This is how you decode it.
09:27This is a gate way to Death Valley, which is the nickname for Beatty, Nevada.
09:33Next up, Trips by Horse.
09:35This section was loaded with riddles we called cryptic trios.
09:38Solve the three clues on a card, and you get a random three-word combo like this one.
09:44A pushdown sequel to Myst is driven.
09:46Thing in this hunt is a hint, and a little devil wandering and getting better is improving.
09:52Driven, hint, improving.
09:54Sounds like nonsense, until you type it into this geocoding website like this.
10:01And it's another location pinned.
10:03We literally used a global coordinate system, which codes in three-word combos to hide nine new locations.
10:10Kind of insane.
10:12And that third unlocked group was Trips by Plane, which contains 16 puzzles known as GeoGuessers.
10:18A game made possible by Google Earth, and the ability to see all over the world at any given time.
10:23These 16 GeoGuessers, the nine cryptic crosswords, and 15 Rebuses made up a total of 40 new puzzles to solve.
10:30Put that together with the 51 locations uncovered in stages one through four, and there's a pretty obvious question.
10:36What do you do with a list of 91 random locations?
10:39Well, you have to solve a crossword puzzle to find out.
10:43Off we go!
10:44On Super Bowl Sunday, we released a giant crossword with zero clues.
10:49As the challenge went on, clues randomly appeared.
10:52Solving this crossword was the key to unlocking the entire game.
10:55It also came with this weird 11-level array of empty blocks, which nobody knew what it meant until I
11:01revealed 167 across.
11:04What this puzzle commemorates in 11 words in the theme entries.
11:09The answer was a pun.
11:10Super Bowl Sunday.
11:12Now players knew what to look for.
11:14Soup-themed words.
11:15Once extracted, these words actually fit the array.
11:19And a new clue emerged.
11:20The phrase, Titanic Hoop.
11:23You might be asking, what on Earth is a Titanic hoop?
11:25Try a little word association.
11:27Titanic means great, and hoop means circle.
11:30Put it together, and you get a great circle.
11:34The absolute largest circle that can be drawn on a sphere.
11:37Which, on Earth, is the equator.
11:39So the next logical step was connecting our giant list of 91 locations using great circles on the actual globe.
11:46The problem was, the possibilities were endless.
11:48If you were smart, you made your way back to beast.travel, where trips by boat was unlocked and waiting.
11:54Inside was a long list of fill-in-the-blank puzzles.
11:57Each including either a car, horse, plane, or boat.
12:01And having collected just as many locations at this point in the game,
12:05as this list is long, players got started filling in the blanks.
12:09When all the transportation symbols were aligned like so, there was a new clue just beneath the surface.
12:15It was instructions for the next puzzle, and a good indication of where to find it.
12:20The final unlocked beast.travel section, Trips by Romi.
12:24A poem there hinted of three points of embarkation.
12:28And this example connecting Haley Bailey, one cryptic trio, and a bonus crossword answer,
12:34did represent three locations.
12:36DeKalb, Illinois, Manistee, Michigan, and Ayafiljallajökull volcano in Iceland.
12:43That's a mouthful.
12:44But it turns out, those three locations did fall perfectly on a great circle.
12:49Here's how it worked.
12:50The 40 locations collected at beast.travel were connections between answer pairs from the first stage of the challenge.
12:56Like so.
12:58Haiti, Nevada connected Tijuana, Mexico to Yellowknife Northwest Territories.
13:02Lysension in Quebec connected Yellowknife Northwest Territories to Montreal, Quebec.
13:07This final grid was actually a tool to organize all the locations players had gathered.
13:12And when complete, they had a properly ordered list to tie all these locations together.
13:18They noticed something.
13:19These weren't just random lines.
13:21This is an R.
13:22Look closely.
13:24This is 62.
13:2562.
13:25They were literally spelling out the $1,000,000 volt code.
13:29As they worked their way through the list, plotting point after point and line after line,
13:34a pattern turned up in the code.
13:36R62, L39, R05.
13:40It didn't take long before players started submitting this combo as the final volt code.
13:46But unfortunately for them, it still wasn't complete.
13:49And fortunately for me, I got to keep my $1,000,000 a little bit longer.
13:54Two final clues.
13:55We're still left to crack this challenge once and for all.
13:59The first one had been hiding in plain sight all along at Beast.Travel.
14:03And the second one, I actually dropped the day after the Super Bowl on Good Morning America,
14:07when Michael Strahan asked me this.
14:10Between you and I, can you give me a hint?
14:12So, um, well...
14:14I guess that's a no, man.
14:17No, no, Michael.
14:18Let's just flush out the other clue first.
14:20Every map puzzle at Beast.Travel was paired with a unique 12-letter word.
14:25These were real words you can literally find in the dictionary.
14:28But until now, they were pretty meaningless.
14:30Here's the trick.
14:31When they're stacked like this, the first letters spell a secret message.
14:35This stack spells numbers.
14:37But that was only part of the story.
14:39Stack the remaining 34 words and you reveal the final clue.
14:44Numbers for this half would smell as sweet as one.
14:47If you're wondering what the heck that means, one guy would have figured it out instantly.
14:51But he's dead.
14:53Sir William Shakespeare.
14:54The guy who wrote Romeo and Juliet in this famous line.
14:57What's in a name?
14:59That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.
15:03Yeah, we put Shakespeare in this challenge.
15:05And not only that, back to you, Michael.
15:08Between you and I, can you give me a hint?
15:10Maybe look for some numbers and photos that I took at the Super Bowl or something.
15:13I don't know.
15:14And that was it.
15:15If you saw that interview and dug through my Super Bowl Instagram photos,
15:19you finally had every piece of the puzzle.
15:22Because this specific photo right here wasn't just the only one with numbers.
15:26It featured Rosé from Blackpink.
15:28And you'd remember, numbers for this half would smell as sweet as one.
15:32And if you'd come this far, you were one out of 70 million people who tried to solve this
15:38massive challenge.
15:39And you were on the verge of claiming the $1 million prize.
15:43On that jet is the person who thinks they've solved the puzzle.
15:47Is this Collins?
15:48Thanks to meet you.
15:49The vault is right over here.
15:51Do you have the code?
15:52I have the code.
15:53How many hours have you put into solving these puzzles?
15:55Hundreds and hundreds.
15:57Okay.
15:58If you input the correct 30-digit code, that million dollars is yours.
16:02Most important number of my life.
16:04Do you have it memorized?
16:05You didn't even write it down?
16:06I've got it memorized, man.
16:07I see it in my sleep.
16:12R, 62.
16:13L, 39.
16:13The fingers are shaking.
16:14Can you hold your hand out like this?
16:16It's a million dollar combination.
16:17Oh, five.
16:19Oh, gosh.
16:19L, 73.
16:21The score was 60-0.
16:23Yup.
16:23Foul on the play, number 66.
16:25Uh-huh.
16:26Order two.
16:27Uh-huh.
16:28309 on the clock.
16:29Ball on the 12.
16:31A billion dollars.
16:32And the rest are some stats I don't quite understand.
16:34Zero, zero, three, zero, zero.
16:36Enter.
16:38Access.
16:38Granted, boys, open it up.
16:40You're the first person in the entire world to put in the code.
16:44Woo-hoo!
16:46This is the hardest thing I've ever done.
16:49My son's going to college.
16:50You brought your wife?
16:51She is here.
16:52Would you say the hobby paid off?
16:54It did.
17:00With around 90 locations and one million dollars on the line,
17:05I really didn't think anyone would solve this puzzle.
17:08But Colin and his team did.
17:11And this puzzle proves that nothing is ever what it seems.
17:16Including this video.
17:18Because as I mentioned earlier, there's a puzzle hidden within this video.
17:22Created by Colin himself.
17:25And the first person to answer correctly wins 10,000 dollars.
17:29So if you think you've solved it, scan this QR code and enter your final answer.
17:34And as always, thank you for watching this very special video.
17:40and wake you up with me.
17:41And this is all Và Vs.
17:41I know that you feel the mentioned or declare yourzt code,
17:43but you feel the same or come with me afterมัğkturve.
17:43And then we can find it.
17:44virus, or pits, or pits, or pits.
17:46or if I can't hear you.
17:46or have a big part of it now...
17:46But is it clear, can't cause I continue?
17:46Beautiful, first!
17:47Because it does my problem%,
