A political war of words erupted between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party following the opposition rally at Ramlila Maidan. Congress leader Pawan Khera launched a sharp counterattack against Union Home Minister Amit Shah after the minister mocked Rahul Gandhi by stating he could only be prime minister in a mock parliament. Responding to the remarks, Khera stated that the ruling party leaders are unable to sleep and see the Congress in their dreams, labelling Amit Shah an outgoing home minister. While the Congress termed the Ramlila Maidan gathering a massive success with widespread crowd attendance, the BJP dismissed it as an exaggerated mega flop.

00:01Some more news coming in on the statement of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
00:05Congress leader Pawan Khera has now reacted, saying that these people have started seeing the Congress even in their dreams.
00:11First, they struggle to fall asleep, and when they finally do, the Congress appears in their dreams.
00:17It's quite satisfying to see this fear. Tell them to start counting their days.
00:21The time for them to leave has arrived.
00:23He's an outgoing Home Minister. That's what the Congress Party has said.
00:27Pawan Khera from the Congress Party echoing what Rahul Gandhi said today,
00:30that how Gyanesh Kumar along with the Prime Minister and Home Minister are unable to sleep these days.
00:35Pawan Khera is also echoing the same statement as a counter-attack to the claim that was made by,
00:42to the remark that was made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Rahul Gandhi.
00:46Listen in.
01:36So on one hand, the Congress Party is calling it a hit show, the rally at Ramlila Maidan.
01:41On the other hand, the BJP is calling it a mega flop, also saying that how the Congress
01:47Party has been exaggerating the numbers, the number of people who had gathered at the Ramlila
01:53Maidan. On the other hand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also mocked the Congress Party,
01:59particularly Rahul Gandhi, saying that how Rahul Gandhi can be the Prime Minister only
02:03in a mock parliament, to which now Pawan Khera has hit back from the Congress Party, saying
02:08that how the BJP is unable to sleep, how the Home Minister is unable to sleep, and that
02:13is why they are dreaming about the Congress Party. My colleague Moshmi Singh is now joining
02:18us. Moshmi, after Union Home Minister Amit Shah's attack that Rahul Gandhi can only be
02:23the Prime Minister in a mock parliament. Now, the Congress Party has hit back. Pawan Khera
02:27is echoing the same statement, which was made by Rahul Gandhi, that how the Home Minister
02:31and the Prime Minister are unable to sleep these days.
02:37Absolutely. You know, this is a very aggressive counterattack by the Congress. And we've seen
02:46a war of words erupt from both sides. You know, this has been, if you look at the timeline throughout
02:52the day, a bus yatra, an open bus yatra versus road shows by the BJP top brass. Clearly, you
03:04know, the attacks and counterattacks and war of words were clearly flowing. Dei Pawan Khera,
03:10who is the media chairperson, you know, hitting out at the Home Minister, saying he's the outgoing
03:17Home Minister and saying that, you know, enough is enough. So clearly, even as you know, there
03:24has been an entire argument over whether it was a success or not a success, both sides,
03:31you know, gunning for the other. In fact, one will have to wait and see how this really trickles
03:37is in and, you know, what is the sentiment prevailing amongst the masses at large. But importantly,
03:45you know, the attack was very sharp from Ramlila Meidan. In fact, Pawan Khera has just taken
03:53a cue from what Rahul Gandhi had to say about the Prime Minister and the Home Minister and also
04:01the EC saying that they will have to go. So clearly, Ramlila Meidan witnessing yet again,
04:06a very, very historic moment where the India bloc, the chief opposition is gunning for the
04:15ruling government.
04:17All right, Moshmi, thank you for joining us with those details and for that context.
