00:00Fortnite just revealed the anime Battle Pass, our first look at the map, and that this could be our
00:04last time with sprites. So here's everything we know about the anime mini season. Because billboards
00:10have started appearing around the world showing new teasers, and that's anime versions of iconic
00:15characters. You could spot an anime version of Sid saying happy hunting and the name of the city
00:20where it's located. And then we have Jonesy with the map saying the greatest adventure of all time.
00:25There's even an anime version of Oscar where he says I know where it is with a treasure chest
00:29on the map. But after that, we also see a brand new character who asks if you've seen the treasure.
00:34This anime girl also shows up in the brand new teaser video for a collab I'll reveal soon.
00:39Because finally, there's Hope, who arguably looks the most anime out of all of them. And the Japanese
00:44text translates to, everything is in your hands, but the English poster says, every hunter needs a
00:50crew. And so the official slogan for the season is, join the hunt. Fans believe this is our first
00:56reveal of the battle pass with all five characters getting anime remixes, but they might not all be
01:01in the past because of the leaked collabs that may take their place. If you couldn't tell from the
01:05posters, the official theme of next season is totally unexpected. It looks to be an anime inspired
01:10treasure hunt, kind of like chapter one, season eight, if it was, you know, anime. Our cast of
01:15characters are going to be searching for a piece of the zero point in order to defeat Jeno. And we'll
01:19get
01:20into that soon because everyone's talking about what this theme really means. With the old school treasure map,
01:25the talk about needing a crew and that it's going to be an adventure. There's only one anime that
01:30resembles all this. And that's a collab that's been leaked for over two months now. Insiders have
01:34confirmed that one piece is going to be a big part of this season. And at one point we all
01:38thought it
01:38would simply be a one piece collab pass and nothing else right now. That's looking like it's not the
01:44case. Let me explain. Clearly the mini season is way more than that. And we don't know if Luffy will
01:49appear in the past or have his own event pass, but we do know that this loading screen exists.
01:54It shows Jones on a barrel and a pirate chest right next to him, officially teasing next season and showing
01:59him and Hope traveling to the anime world. It's likely the origin of their upcoming skins. The weirdest
02:05part is how none of Epic's teasers or marketing so far have actually directly referenced One Piece or even
02:10shown anything from the anime. It's all been pirates, barrels and treasure. And to make it stranger than that,
02:16Fortnite are teasing different collabs instead. That includes a character who's been in the works for years now.
02:21Because just recently, a gigantic treasure chest appeared on the island. Sloane and Rixel have been
02:27working together in the story quest to try and bring the tiny sliver of the zero point to them,
02:31except it's in this giant chest. While they hack it into the world, it's slowly downloading so we
02:37could open it up in time for next season. And this is what all of the stages look like. Now
02:42it is almost
02:42done and a song will play every single day that teases a new collab. At first, we heard Riot by
02:48A$AP Rocky blasting from the chest and he just dropped an official teaser video for his collab.
02:53It features this anime girl skin that also appeared on the posters. As the video keeps playing,
02:58we also get several glimpses at his own skin with diamond teeth and glasses and even posing next to
03:03a llama. Next, we could hear What You Sang by Lil Uzi Vert teasing his involvement, which was quickly
03:08followed by his own teaser. Several images of his skin flashed, also joined by the same anime Sid,
03:13but this time we even get a glimpse of her mass cuddle team leader style. Then it gets super weird.
03:18To fit with the whole Japanese anime style, we'll hear Miku by Anna Managuchi, which could mean we're
03:24getting yet another outfit for Miku. But the craziest reveal of them all, Birdbrain by Jamie Page will
03:29begin playing from the chest, practically confirming the cast in a Teddo is finally coming to Fortnite.
03:34She has been leaked for over a year and fans actually took it out on the leakers for her never
03:39arriving, but now it looks like it's actually happening next season. Just yesterday, a brand
03:44new teaser video for the season was dropped and it reveals a mysterious storyline character.
03:50You see my treasure chest, filled with windows beyond imagining. Lucky for you, I know how to share.
03:58And you know that I've got exactly what you're looking for. Tempting, isn't it? But you'll be in
04:06rather good company. You won't be the only one drawn to these shores. Hope you're ready for reality's
04:14greatest treasure hunt.
04:18Now let's quickly rewind to those posters across the world because there's one I didn't show you.
04:23Here's a picture that reveals our first look at next season's map. It's kind of hard to see,
04:28but look closely and you can make out roads, trees, and buildings. And it wasn't long before fans
04:33realized it's a mashup of previous chapters. You can see the spiral maze from chapter six,
04:39what looks to be tilted towers, and then something very interesting. What seems to be the yacht from
04:45chapter two is right there, parked up. And fans originally thought this meant Midas or someone else
04:50was returning. Other theories have popped up that may suggest it's actually an original pirate ship,
04:55kind of like the one from Lazy Lagoon, but more fitting for the anime season. And now we have brand
05:00new evidence thanks to that same new teaser from ASAP Rocky. Right here in the trailer, you can spot the
05:04yacht up here, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's a boss there just like chapter two. You can even
05:09spot a
05:09chop on the helipad, so maybe those will return too. And that's not the only map teaser, because in
05:14Lil Uzi's trailer for a split second, you can see this black and white POI. Looks super closely,
05:20and you'll realize it's the return of Anvil Square. With this being anime themed, it seems
05:25really weird that the only confirmed collabs right now are Icon series and Vocaloids. Clearly,
05:31Fortnite are keeping their cards close to their chest. But luckily, we still have some gigantic
05:35anime franchises that have been leaked, and they may end up appearing next season, including new
05:40evidence from Epic themselves. Let's break it down. Chainsaw Man was leaked over a year ago,
05:45and in January this year, a motion capture artist filmed themselves performing the Iris Outdance for a
05:49mystery game. Immediately, they then liked comments asking if it was for Fortnite. We then got Iris out
05:55as an official jam track, and have been waiting for the emote version ever since, so it could finally
06:00be time. Maybe we'll get some skins as well. Then there's Demon Slayer, which has been leaked
06:05forever. And everyone thought it would show up in the actual Japanese demon hunting season,
06:09but it didn't. This seemed like the perfect evidence it wasn't happening until now. Because a few
06:15weeks ago, a fan edited Chainsaw Man, Demon Slayer, One Piece, and more into a waiting room. And out of
06:20nowhere, Fortnite themselves responded, asking the characters to take a number. And it's not the only
06:25time they've been acknowledging these collabs either, because fans have been begging for Attack
06:29on Titan to return for so long now. We desperately want more outfits from the show. And well, a producer
06:34of the series said they plan to continue creating game collabs moving forward. And when someone asked if it
06:39includes more Fortnite, he said, I can't tell. I got what you feel. We keep moving on. Okay,
06:44little Rocky translation there. But then we got an update from the top source in the world,
06:48which is Tim Sweeney himself. Literally out of nowhere, from all the fans demanding it,
06:52he changed his Twitter bio to say, Epic Games founder and CEO doesn't know when Attack on Titan
06:57is returning to the Fortnite item shop. And I'm just saying, next season is a better time than ever.
07:02It's not just AOT that fans have been wanting to make a comeback. We could be getting the return
07:06of some fan favorite anime weapons. Of course, everyone would love to see the Kamehameha come
07:12back. I mean, this thing was so iconic back in the day, but that's not all. Fans have been wanting
07:16the Deku Smash to return for years at this point. And I mean, come on, how cool would it be
07:20to make
07:20Deku Smash versus a Kamehameha? We'd also love to see the return of the Kunai from Naruto. And if AOT
07:27does return, we could also see the Thunder Spears and ODM gear on Vaulted. Maybe we'll even see some
07:32JJK items like Hollow Purple or Straw Doll Technique. Now Epic Games isn't planning on giving up on this
07:38whole gaming legends thing anytime soon. We may be moving from video games to anime, but that won't
07:43stop this season's most famous collabs from getting an upgrade. Wave 2 of Sonic has already been
07:48confirmed by Sega themselves. And last week, they showed off this trailer.
08:00That's right. Metal Sonic is officially coming to Fortnite. And we know from the files, this could
08:04also finally include Sonic shoes as kicks. It's all anyone has wanted, especially after the disaster
08:10of the original Sonic sneakers. And yet it wasn't in wave one, even though they're sitting in the files
08:15as we speak. Tim Sweeney has also been dropping info bombs every few days for the last couple months.
08:20At first, he revealed that Fortnite's future is going to be AI-focused, and they're forcing every
08:25employee to use AI in their workflows, even proudly displaying the new Epic Games launcher as entirely
08:31vibe-coded by AI. This has caused a ton of pushback and fear about what Fortnite's future is going to
08:36look like. And during all this info, he told fans not to give up on Fall Guys either. Apparently,
08:41they're working on a huge retooling that'll make new things possible, with fans all guessing this
08:46could mean they're vibe-coding the game from now on. With how fast they claim this stuff to be,
08:50we could probably see this Fall Guys overhaul by next season, and previous leaks have already
08:54claimed Rocket League and Fall Guys will be getting integrated directly into Fortnite soon.
08:58But the absolute craziest part about what comes next is that when Chapter 7 ends in one month,
09:04we may see Epic delete the most popular feature of the whole year. Because in the files,
09:09leakers discover that sprites and extractions are sticking around next season, but every single one
09:14of them are set to be removed in time for Chapter 8. Even the tab that displays your previous sprite
09:19collection is gonna vanish, and this has led fans to believe sprites are getting fully deleted in
09:24December. I think this feature makes Epic way too much money right now, and they've clearly realized
09:29just how big it's become, so there's no way they remove it, right? What very likely happens is that
09:34all the files are getting deleted because they're planning on replacing it with a totally new system.
09:39So we may see a total sprite overhaul in Chapter 8 may be completely different to what we're used
09:44to. Either that, or they're gone for good, and that's gonna make a lot of fans very, very sad.
09:50If you pick up the mini-season battle pass, as always, use code T5G in the item shop,
09:53supports us more than you know, and it's been Tommy, keep it here, on Top 5 Gaming.
