04:32On this side I've kept it pretty small and simple so it blends in with the roof without standing out

04:46And finally I'm just going to curve these beams at the top slightly rather than having them end completely straight.
04:51It's a really small detail but I think it gives the roof a much nicer shape and makes the silhouette
04:55a bit more interesting.
04:56Now you've just got to go round and add all the little details.
04:59I'm starting with some planters underneath the windows. They're really simple but make the windows feel way less empty.
05:04Then add the door, some buttons that kind of look like nails in the house.
05:08And obviously get some lanterns in so we can actually see the house at night.
05:11And then I'm going to add leaves around the outside.
05:13Leaves are the best way to make a house look actually lived in and give it some more colour.
05:17I'll mix in some flowers and a few glow berries if you want even more shrubbish.
05:21And that should make the house feel a bit more overgrown and actually part of the surroundings.
05:24Then do this to all the walls. This is probably the most satisfying bit of when you build a house.
05:28And finally that was the last step. So with that, the house is finished.
05:32We've somehow gone from this to this.
05:34This shows you that you don't need to follow a block by block tutorial to make something that looks actually
05:38good.
05:39Hopefully you can take a few of these ideas and use them in your own builds.
