00:21But what I've seen, which has been the best part about the team,
00:25is defensively, they're competing.
00:28Joel Embiid lost weight, and he's moving better laterally.
00:33It'll be interesting to see, Big Shills, what Philadelphia does tonight.
00:36Last weekend when they went on a back-to-back, they split the baby, right?
00:40LeBron set out one night, then obviously the other night Embiid set out.
00:45It'll be interesting to see right now, neither guy's on the injury report tonight.
00:49I think the NBA really wants them both to play.
00:53So look for a situation where if both guys play tonight,
00:56then they both don't play tomorrow versus Charlotte.

01:16As you just said, the load management right now with these two ballplayers here,
01:20how important is he going to be in the dynamic of setting that basketball team up
01:24night in and night out?
01:25Well, it's a huge role.
01:27I mean, even Jalen Brown is questionable with a knee.
01:30So when you got these guys, listen, I think what people have to understand is this.
01:36You just got to get in the final six.
01:38Just get to the top six and make sure you're not in the playing tournament.
01:43If you can just get yourself into the top six, you know,
01:47if they defend the way they're defending it, listen, Philadelphia and New York
01:51are going to be battling all year.
01:53But the East is so much better.
01:56Boston's better.
01:58Obviously, Indiana getting Halliburton back even though he's hurt, right?
02:01I think Atlanta's going to be a team that's in the mix.
02:04I think Charlotte's better than people think.
02:06You know, the East, obviously Boston, the East and Toronto,
02:11it's going to be a really good run in the East.
02:14This whole concept of the West is better, the West is better.

02:19The East is really good basketball and the championship could come out of the East this year.

02:28Your thoughts so far on the New York Knicks play?
02:31I mean, look, so much of the season is yet to be played out,
02:35but are you concerned about them a little bit?
02:37I mean, here's a basketball team over the last three years has gotten to each round.
02:41You know, they ended up getting to the conference championship the year before they won the NBA championship.
02:47Do you believe that this is going to be one of the true contenders in the Eastern Conference this year?
02:52I do believe so because of the continuity.
02:55I think, listen, it was a tough situation trying winning on opening night with that ceremony,
03:00which is absolutely fantastic.
03:02But New York is kind of starting to find their way.
03:05They've shown glimpses, right?
03:07That fourth quarter, second half that they had versus Chicago, they played really well.

03:14Brunson starting to come on.
03:16You know, only 20-some opposite from three.
03:18He hit six threes against Chicago.
03:20He's going to get going a little bit.
03:22The one interesting thing that's been is Andre Drummond.
03:27He got benched two games ago because of his lack of defensive play.
03:31It didn't entice Mike Brown.
03:33But if you remember opening night versus Philadelphia, he got a double-double.
03:36So it'll be interesting if he could hold the four and be a defensive anchor in that second unit.
03:41I think New York is going to be there right there in the end.
03:44But like I said, this East is absolutely loaded.
