00:04Everyone wants to know the quickest way to brighten their eye color, and it's as simple
00:07as using a shimmering eye pencil opposite your eye color on the color wheel.
00:16So for instance, if you have blue eyes, you want to use a shimmering copper.
00:23If you have brown eyes, you want a shimmering navy, hazel eyes, shimmering green, and for
00:29myself, green eyes, I'm going to use a shimmering eggplant.
00:32It's really as simple as that.
00:34So when we're talking about the color wheel, we're talking about complementary colors.
00:38Because my eyes are green, the color that's opposite of my color on the color wheel is
00:42going to be red.
00:44Now, obviously, purple isn't red, but red is in the base of purple.
00:50So when I apply this eggplant shade, helps to tug on the eye a little bit, that's how you'll
00:56get a nice, smooth line.
00:58You can see that my eye looks greener on the right side.
01:02It's also really nice, once you do apply your line, to go back over with a brush if you
01:11need to, to make it smooth.
01:17I mean, we're really just talking two steps.
01:22And instantly brighter eyes.
01:24As an extra little side note, if your eyes are on the lighter side, use the darker shade
01:29of your complementary color.
01:30If your eyes are on the darker side, use the lighter shade of your complementary color.
