00:09Hi, I'm Whitney Port, the designer of Whitney Eve, and we are here in my closet.
00:17Right now my closet's really neat because I've just moved in and everything is pretty organized,
00:21but I doubt it stays like this for very long.
00:23Lots of color, lots of texture. I definitely geared towards those different and unique things.
00:30So one of my favorite pieces is this dress that actually has this cotton tee on the top part and
00:36then this ruffle bottom.
00:37I like the mixed media and I like the different textures and I think it's cool that you can make
00:41something that's cotton
00:42into something that's super wearable and can dress it up.
00:45I think I wore it with like a thick kind of pearl necklace and some braided gray shoes.
00:52This is also one of my favorite dresses. I just love all the detail, all the texture.
00:57I love a good white dress that I can kind of mix and match day to night depending on how
01:02I accessorize it.
01:05When I go to the office, I like to be really comfortable, but also I like to be cute and
01:09stylish.
01:10So this is actually a sweater from my collection. It's a nice super sweater and I can pair it with
01:15so many different things.
01:17I love dresses and I think a fun way to mix up cotton is by the silhouette.
01:22So a really good dress I have is this gray dress that has just some really nice draping and this
01:26big wing that's fun.
01:28But if you look really closely, I mean it is just gray cotton, but it's so great how they made
01:33it something fancy.
01:34And then I have it with this long necklace that has some nice cloth tassels and adds a different texture
01:40to it and some color to it.
01:44Okay, so now it's time for the cotton challenge. So I'm going to try to put together one of my
01:48favorite outfits and I'll see you guys in 60 seconds.
01:58Okay, so this is my nighttime outfit. Kind of my going out look, my going to meet girlfriend's for a
02:05drink kind of look, which is still pretty comfortable and keeps me covered enough for the L.A. winter.
02:11But it's this cotton kind of jacquard jacket, which is from my collection and I like to layer it.
02:17So I have this fun little dress which is kind of like a leather looking lace and then underneath I
02:23have a gray cotton little slip that's attached to it.
02:26So it's a fun way to mix the textures and I have a little choker made out of fabric that
02:32I got in London at Topshop and paired it with some cute booties, some comfortable cute leather booties.
