The dark sky over Davenport gave way to a radiant, cloud-like formation unlike anything seen before. The footage captured by Valeria shows the rocket’s initial ascent, marked by a single streak of light cutting through the dark sky. As the Falcon 9 climbed into the upper atmosphere, the exhaust plume expanded into a glowing, multicolored cloud of illuminated gas, creating a surreal visual structure resembling a giant jellyfish floating across space. The phenomenon, commonly known as the 'space jellyfish' effect, occurs when high-altitude sunlight hits the expanding rocket exhaust gases against the darkness of the night sky below. The vivid formation remained visible for several moments.
