If you remember how excited you were the first time you managed to tie a knot that didn't fall apart as soon as you stood up, stay tuned. This shoe-tying technique is insanely quick to do, creates a perfect knot that doesn't budge, works on strings that are slightly too short, and — the best part — you feel like a wizard every single time you do it.

00:00Tying your shoe is a styling trick so basic that you probably haven't thought about it
00:04since you learned how to do it when you were four or five.
00:06But there's a better way to do it than bunny ears, and this new way is not only incredibly
00:10fast, but makes you feel like a boss every single time you do it.
00:12Start by holding onto the shoelaces with your third, fourth, and fifth finger of both of
00:16your hands so your thumb and your pointer fingers are exposed, making these shoot-em-up
00:20guns.
00:20You want to go underneath and then back around so you make two bridges of shoelaces on top
00:25between your thumb and your pointer fingers.
00:26Take the thumb of your right hand and your pointer finger of your left hand, reach across,
00:31grab onto the bridge of the opposite hand, pull through, and voila!
00:34Your shoes are tied.
00:35This goes really, really quickly once you've mastered it.
