With festival season in full swing, off the shoulder tops have returned as one of the boho trend's MVPs. They do have one pitfall, though: getting that straight-across neckline to stay put, without having to sacrifice your moves when the crowd favorite storms the stage. Refinery29 fashion features director Connie Wang shares a genius hack that stops the sleeves from popping up over sun-seeking shoulders. You just need two minutes, a few household items, and a summer-ready peasant top.

00:00You know that if you have to move your arms even a little bit, it goes from cute at Coachella
00:04to, where is my milking cow?
00:07So I actually have a really quick tip to ensure that your off-the-shoulder top actually stays off-the
00:12-shoulders using stuff that you can find in your junk drawer.
00:15Here's how you do it.
00:19You're going to need four average safety pins and two elastics.
00:23I'm going to use hair ties, and they're the same kind because the fabric under my armpit actually feels better
00:28than a rubber band,
00:28but it's totally up to you.
00:30Take two of the safety pins and attach it to one of the hair ties, and then go towards the
00:34top of your top.
00:35You're going to look for places where it's easier to hide this safety pin.
00:38So look for a seam or a piece of elastic or something.
00:42Affix it to the front and the back and do it for the other side.
00:45And see?
00:47It works!
00:48Now you can move around and be yourself without having to worry about fixing your shoulders all the time.
00:52Have a great off-the-shoulder summer.
