00:00All right, let's just all agree now to not share any secrets.
00:04Can we agree, y'all?
00:05Can we agree?
00:05I agree.
00:06Is anybody nervous?
00:07I'm the only nervous one.
00:15Ooh, that's a good question.
00:16True.
00:17False, Ebony?
00:18You're a dog person, Ebony.
00:20I'm a dog sitter.
00:21A sitter is a little different.
00:25False.
00:26I'm going to have to say true.
00:27I feel like there was a journey at some point.
00:30Absolutely not.
00:31I've never lived in Philly.
00:32Upstate New York.
00:33Upstate New York to the city.
00:39Oh, that sounds so true.
00:41False.
00:41True.
00:42But I don't think it's true.
00:44No.
00:46I knew that was false.
00:48What sign would you cancel on, Nobi?
00:50Like an air sign, you know?
00:51They'd be blatant sometimes, like a Libra.
00:53You would cancel the date, though?
00:55You wouldn't even just see?
00:57Yeah, I would cancel.
00:58Oh, I got one.
01:00Wait, there's not a prize?
01:02No.
01:06What immediately comes to my mind when I think of sisterhood is transparency.
01:12The ability to be transparent with one another, no matter how uncomfortable it gets.
01:17You know, and really being able to lay a strong foundation of trust.
01:22A shoulder to lean on is someone that you can talk to about anything.
01:26Someone that you can be yourself with, you can grow with, you can share your experiences
01:30with.
01:30Maybe someone who knows a little bit more than you, who's lived a little bit longer than
01:33you, someone who can guide you here and there, who can have your back, teach you to accept
01:38yourself and call you out when you're wrong, but you're not going to yell at them because
01:43you, you know, sisters.
01:48People are mirrors and that's, it's just showing me, me in different lights and different walks
01:56of life coming from the different circumstances.
01:59When you're choosing to cultivate and it actually invests in that friendship, you're
02:03showing a commitment to yourself as well.
02:06You're saying that I can be held accountable in my friendship.
02:08I can be transparent in my friendship.
02:10I can be loved.
02:11I am worthy of this.
02:13You know what I'm saying?
02:13It's a lot of other things that go a lot deeper in it.
02:19When you have friendships, you create your own family and you pick a tribe and you create
02:26your own reality.
02:27I think just naturally, women are great listeners.
02:30I don't think that it's something that really needs to be taught for the most part.
02:34I think, you know, we are nurturers.
02:37We're, we're, we're open to a degree to a lot of different things all of the time.
02:43And then especially to each other.
02:46I have found love within myself.
02:49I always find love.
02:51Okay.
02:52So that's the journey at the end of the day, because as we all know, our relationships,
02:57only mirror where we're at emotionally, spiritually, emotionally, physically, emotionally, vulnerably,
03:06intimately.
03:07I'm not swagger jacking, Novi, but that's my answer too.
03:10Like, I can understand my relationship with myself and why at this point, at this time,
03:16I'm solo, but I'm not alone.
03:20I have found love and lost love and found love again.
03:24And the one thing that I think has come up for me is that everything is love, whether it's
03:30a person or a thing, when we think about even what we're doing right now with sisters, our
03:35characters, our roles, we have a passion for that.
03:38That is love.
03:42I think it's safe to say that this is the black renaissance that is not going to end.
03:47It's not going to be a time period.
03:49It's not going to be a fragment of history.
03:52The black experience is not a monolith.
03:54We are fully mosaic and black people deserve the option and the right to be able to watch
04:02multiple TV shows that have multiple experiences where they can see a piece of themselves in
04:10several different things and not just a sliver of the corner of the TVs to, you know, to just
04:19see themselves and they probably don't even relate, you know, like, so it's, I hope this
04:24is just one more creative outlet for people.
04:26And that's what I love about this show.
04:28It's not showing these perfect women.
04:31It's showing these women that are honestly confused, honestly bewildered, honestly just
04:37wanting to understand how can I fall in love, how can I fall in love with myself in a world
04:42that's so noisy and it has so many distractions and so many labels is telling me what I should
04:48be, what I shouldn't be.
04:51Oh, you know, they say the sequel is never better than the original, right?
04:54But I think, I think season two just might be, it just might be better because it's bigger,
05:01it's more expansive and we pick up exactly where we left off.
05:04I hope they love it more than they love season one.
05:07I just want them to enjoy it and be entertained and be happy as they still have to sit in
05:13the house.
05:14I just hope people are ready for the drama.
05:16I hope people are ready for the excitement, for the, I've been saying my favorite word
05:20is activity.
05:21There's just going to, it's a very active season, okay?
05:25A lot of things are going to be going down.
05:27We're going to be on live two weeks, so keep up with us.
05:29I'm excited.
05:30I'm nervous.
05:31I just want to go on record right now and say, don't ever forget me and Karen are two different
05:35people, but I love her.
05:37That's my girl.
05:38That's my sis.
05:38Don't get it twisted.
05:39I got her back.
05:40Yeah.
05:41We're all grown over here in the house.
