All the ladies out there with big domes (and there are definitely a lot of you out there) — we have a particular set of challenges that makes hats, headbands, and hair scarves more trouble than they're worth. Tying up your dirty hair isn't ever as simple as it looks (sorry, guys). The answer lies in layering your headbands: Use a wide, plastic headband that stays put, or an elastic one with a gummy gripped lining. Either will provide the base for you to tuck in the edges of your hair scarf after you tie it on, and then you can pretty much forget about it until you remove it at the end of the night.

00:00Everybody loves wearing a cute head scarf, but if you've got a dome like mine,
00:03your scarf does not stay put for very long. I've got a great tip for making
00:07sure that your scarf stays in place all day. Here's how you do it. So the magic
00:10item is all about this elastic headband. You can find them absolutely anywhere.
00:14They're big, they're stretchy, they got grips on the inside. This thing is not
00:17moving. Find one the same color as your hair, put it on, and then tie the scarf
00:20around it like you normally would. Just make sure that you tuck in some of the
00:24edges into the scarf. It's so much more invisible than bobby pins could ever be
00:28and it will never ever move. And there you go, this scarf is not moving anywhere.
00:32That's proof!
