01:21Rainbow hair time!
01:23I have a lot of hair, but texture-wise, it's very fine.
01:27Which means I can be prone to damage.
01:28I'm worried about the bleach and all the colors that are going to go into it.
01:32I'm also nervous about people staring and looking at me funny.
01:36But I think after getting this hair, I'm going to feel very confident
01:40knowing that I can pull off something so crazy.
01:46rainbow hair color isn't just for people who have bleached hair.
01:49I like to put rainbow hair color over highlights or just a small section
01:52so everybody can enjoy color.
01:54I'm going to divide your hair into six sections for seven colors.
01:58Where's the seventh color going to go?
02:05We're doing the seven color rainbow today.
02:07We're starting with peach, going to green, a little bit of orange.
02:11Moving on to pink, lavender, yellow, and finishing off with a nice vibrant coral.
02:16For our first color, we're starting off with pink.
02:19Keeping it nice, soft around your face.
02:28There's no going back now.
02:30So the next color is going to be yellow.
02:31I like the sunshine to come after pink.
02:38Yellow is one of the colors I was actually really nervous about.
02:41Everybody's a pretty yellow because they think it's going to be a bad blonde,
02:44but a bad blonde is a bad blonde.
02:51For the next color, I'm doing a fireball red,
02:55fading into a magenta pink.
02:58I also love to French braid my hair,
03:00so I'm really excited to see what it looks like with all the colors.
03:03It's going to look like a braid.
03:05It's had a bunch of lucky charms for breakfast.

03:19I thought I was going to look in the mirror while this is going on,
03:21and like not recognize myself, you know what I mean?

03:41I like to wait, you know, for the end to see like how this whole process has gone.

03:49And if you're not, then I add something a little bit more subtle.

04:43I was worried it was going to be really bright and jarring, but I feel like it's very natural.

05:14I was worried about damage and having it dry out my hair, but it feels very smooth and healthy and

05:22Advice for having rainbow colored hair for the first time?
05:24Start light.
05:26Condition your hair and get a silk pillowcase.
05:29Getting rainbow hair is kind of symbolic of me stepping outside of what people expect me to do.
05:36I'm really excited to show my family and friends.
05:38I'm really nervous as to what they're going to say, but I think they're going to love it.
