00:08Hey guys, it's Mi-Anne, and this is Beauty With Me.
00:10The other day, I was doing some light shopping at my local H&M,
00:15and I noticed that their beauty section has grown.
00:18H&M has 690 makeup-related items in the store.
00:24That is crazy. There are so many lipsticks, foundations, concealers,
00:28highlighters, so much so that I was like,
00:31I need to try all this stuff.
00:34So I decided to go to H&M, get a bunch of makeup there,
00:41and I'm going to be doing a full face of H&M makeup today.
00:45So moving right along, we will start with primer.
00:47This is the Color Correcting Face Primer.
00:49This one neutralizes redness in particular.
00:51I get the most of my redness in the center of my face,
00:55so I'm going to definitely focus the primer there.
00:57It's actually quite sheer, but I do think that it's neutralizing some of the redness,
01:02like on my forehead.
01:03Around my nose, I am still pretty red.
01:06I don't know, does my face look less red?
01:08Like, slightly less red?
01:09The texture of my skin actually feels nice and hydrated.
01:12It smells like floral perfumey, which I'll be honest,
01:17isn't really a scent that I really love in like a makeup primer product.
01:21This is the All Day Liquid Foundation.
01:24So I got a couple of tools, the first of which is this face sponge.
01:30And then I also have this, these oval, artiste-esque brushes.
01:35I'm probably going to do sponge one side, brush other side.
01:47I like the way that this sponge is applying it though.
01:50This has very sheer coverage, and I can still see the redness around my nose.
01:55Even for someone like me that does like lighter foundations,
01:57this is definitely not giving me a lot of coverage.
02:04These are not very easy to blend with.
02:08Getting some streaks in the foundation, and I'm getting a little bit of shedding.
02:12Actually, I don't even think it's giving me much more coverage, to be honest.
02:15I think I prefer it with the blender.
02:19So this is the cover-up concealer.
02:21I'm going to probably just under my eyes, around my nose,
02:23and in any areas that need a little bit extra coverage.
02:27I'm hoping it's going to blend well.
02:28The doe foot is really nice and flexible.
02:31Yeah, I like this.
02:32I can already tell.
02:33It blends nicely.
02:35It's not too full coverage, but I do think it brightened a pretty good amount.
02:40This is a concealer that I can see myself wearing all over the face,
02:43for an overall evening of the complexion.
02:45So next up, we're going to powder.
02:48So this is the H&M Translucent High Definition Invisible Powder.
03:03I don't know if you can see that, but...
03:05I had a feeling it was going to be similar to the other HD powders that are out there,
03:10so it would be very blurring, and it definitely did that.
03:13It has really evened out the texture here.

03:24I have a feeling that because this is more of like an HD airbrush kind of powder,
03:30it's not going to be the most long wearing.
03:32I'm going to do the rest of my complexion products after I do my eyes, actually,
03:36because I just filmed with Jackie Aina, and that's what she does,
03:40so I told her I'd give it a go, and I'm going to give it a go.
03:42I have this little Eye Fidelity Primer.
03:45It's so cute and tiny!
03:47When I saw they had an eyelid primer, I was like,
03:49yes, I'm definitely going to try you.
03:51This is not the texture I was expecting.
03:53This actually feels like I'm just putting concealer straight on my lids.
03:56It does actually do a pretty good job of evening out the color of your eyelid.
04:00So H&M actually has a lot of different powder eyeshadows,
04:04from like singles to palettes, but I actually saw these crayons.
04:08They're called the Easy on the Eye color, and I have four shades.
04:12I'm definitely going to wear Supermoon.
04:15Lady Gaga recently did a premiere.
04:16She had this beautiful silvery graphic eye and a nice bold lip.
04:21I feel like it would be fun to wear for New Year's or something like that.
04:24I mean, you can wear it whenever you want, really,
04:26but it does have a kind of holidayish kind of vibe.
04:28Okay, so I'm going to take Supermoon and draw a graphic wing on my eye.
04:35I am by no means copying the Lady Gaga look,
04:38because I think that her makeup artist did like a silver liner and a glittery shadow,
04:42and I think I'm just going to take a cue from it.
05:02This is the Do-It-All Eyeliner, and it caught my eye because...
05:11Eyeliner pencil.
05:14Eyeliner.
05:19Pretty standard black pencil, waxy, very pigmented.
05:25I'm seeing a bit of bleeding.
05:27Bleeding on the hand.
05:28We'll see if it ends up bleeding on the actual eye.
05:31So I'm going to take this felt tip, I'm going to do a small little cat eye,
05:35kind of find my eyes a little more, and then we'll take it from there.
05:37I'm not a huge fan of felt tip liners.
05:40I do prefer them to be kind of a brush tip, but this one's actually very easy to use.
05:45I think I can get pretty good lines with it.
05:54You would do that where you close your eyeliner on the wrong side,
05:58and then it just like...
06:02This is a look that I do a lot.
06:03I do like a graphic wing, maybe add a little bit of a cat eye if I'm like going out.
06:07I've got a tube of the High and Mighty Mascara.
06:11What drew me to this particular one is the brush.
06:14It's very small.
06:15It's like a plastic bristle.
06:17I'm thinking that for someone like me who has pretty sparse, barely there eyelashes,
06:22this might be good.
06:25It's giving me a lot of separation, but also I think a decent amount of volume.
06:30The tiny brush makes it really easy to get bottom lashes.
06:34I really like this formula.
06:37So moving on to blush.
06:39I'm going to be putting on the H&M Pure Radiance Powder Blush in the shade,
06:44Coral, and this is actually a product that I was really excited to try.
06:48I've heard good things.
06:50I think it comes in the cutest.
06:52Just really beautiful sleek packaging.
06:54It even has a mirror.
06:55I prefer using fluffier brushes for blush just because I feel like I get a sheer application
07:04that I can kind of build it up as needed.
07:06It's very pigmented.
07:08It doesn't go on patchy.
07:10I really like the color.
07:11So I also picked up this giant rock.
07:15It kind of reminds me of the rock that Patrick lives under in SpongeBob.
07:23That would like be Patrick.
07:25Patrick Star.
07:33Anyway, this is called the Spotlight Glow Powder in Golden Peach.
07:38I believe I picked this up as a bronzer, but now that I'm swatching it, this is not a color
07:45that I would gravitate toward as a bronzer.
07:47It's very warm.
07:48We'll give it a go.
07:49Okay.
07:49So, oh man.
07:52I probably would wear this in lieu of blush.
07:56I think this would be really beautiful on the cheeks.
07:58Layering it on top of each other is kind of a lot.
08:01It's baked, so it has that like movement and that like luminosity that baked powders have.
08:06I'm excited to kind of play around with this more because I do quite like the texture of it.
08:10I have this lip color to go.
08:13So it is a crayon in the shade Bon Vivante.
08:19Oh, it smells so good like sour fruit gummies.
08:34So this shade is a little bit more on the Barbie side than I thought.
08:38I don't dislike it.
08:39Overall, I think that I like the eyeshadow a lot.
08:42I like the mascara.
08:43I like the concealer.
08:45The blush was nice.
08:47The lipstick's very comfortable.
08:48I'm going to wear this for the rest of the day.

08:56I am back from a very long and stressful day.
08:58It is 10 o'clock.
08:59I've been wearing this makeup for 12 hours.
09:01And I gotta say, I'm looking a little oily in the T-zone.
09:04I had predicted that the powder would not control oil very well.
09:08And I think I was right.
09:09I'm getting quite oily over here.
09:10The foundation and the concealer are so lightweight and flexible.
09:13I will say that I can see some of the blemishes kind of peeking through the foundation here.
09:19As for the eyes though, I did notice some creasing on the lid.
09:23I think the primer and the eyeshadow weren't as long wearing as what I normally would wear.
09:28But they did start to crease toward the very tail end of the day though.
09:31They looked pretty fine for the majority of the day.
09:33The mascara and the eyeliner held up really well.
09:37I was on the subway and my eyes were like tearing up because I like ran to the subway
09:41because it was like really windy outside.
09:43Through all of that, no smudging.
09:45The lips, you know, it rubbed off as soon as I like took a drink or something.
09:49But it was very comfortable.
09:50Those are my thoughts on the H&M makeup.
